    Qa1 14-110 Coil Overs Springs

The more you lower the car, the stiffer the springs have to be to keep it from bottoming. You appear to be interested in as low as it can go, and 110 lb springs is WAY too light for lowering.

    Bump Steer, 5 Lug

You really need to have a fine-tuned sense of chassis balance and car control to sense an actual bumpsteer problem, and you'll feel it most as you enter and navigate hard corners. Most often, what people think is "bumpsteer" is really "tramlining" which is when the car wants to follow ruts in...

    Hard Cranking

Usually a weak starter when warm is caused by weak electrical connections/wiring, so it's time to do a voltage drop test at every connection between battery post and starter post. These three articles all cover how and why. Voltage Drop Testing How To Perform A Voltage Drop Test - Help With...

Engine Cuts Out At Upper Rpms

MSD usually stands for MySparkDisappeared, but I will say that I chased this kind of thing for an embarassingly long time and what cured it for good was an MSD 5527 Street Fire coil.

Has Anyone Installed Late Model Stock Mufflers On A Fox?

It's a really long thread but lots of tech and pictures. Exhaust Drone is Completely Gone - Ford Mustang Forums : Corral.net Mustang Forum Here's the results from my Magnaflowed G8. It droned like crazy at around 1900 RPM, as seen by this screen shot from a sound meter app on my iphone. That...

Has Anyone Installed Late Model Stock Mufflers On A Fox?

Yes, Dynomax VT's kick ass. Everybody's got this recipe and that recipe that supposedly don't drone. They're all full of :poo: IMO :D I've been through every goddamned muffler in the universal catalog of mufflers, and they ALL drone, except the VT's, and the reason is the valve they have...

Brakes 13" Cobra Front's With Gt Rears?

It is if you use them hard, otherwise any difference you feel can probably be chalked up to leverage. I wouldn't expect it to shorten your braking distances except from very high speeds or the 10th hard stop on the street.

    Yes, it's a total non-issue.

    How Big Is Too Big???

Yes, but it's getting harder and harder to do. Cars are SO good these days it's almost hard to believe. And, as I found when I broke my engine a few months ago, pushrod 5.0 blocks and parts are no longer a dime a dozen, but junkyard Coyotes are getting there. The old "find an Explorer engine...

    Need Urgent Help After Rebuild!

That's with a cooler in the drivers fenderwell so it's not dumping heat into the radiator. 270 isn't too hot, but it is why I run such heavy oil, to preserve viscosity and shear resistance at high temps. Oil temp over 300 would concern me.

    Need Urgent Help After Rebuild!

I'm in the exact same boat with a brand new, never fired M-6007-E50 302 crate engine built by the Ford factory on a virgin block. Blackstone oil analysis on the 2nd fill after break-in showed nothing alarming. Running the same Autometer mechanical pressure gauge with the same plumbing as my...

Yes, don't discount balljoints and bushings as a source of ride harshness that won't be fixed by just replacing the struts.

    Suspension Koni Or Bilstein

They rattle like hell with most c/c plates and they bug people who know better with their 10 "way" adjustable. They mean, their adjustments have 10 positions. Fools the ricers, so hey. "Way" refers to ranges of damping, e.g. Koni single-adjustables are adjustable for rebound only and...

    Suspension Koni Or Bilstein

Bilsteins are great right out of the box. I like them both, and I personally run Koni's, but it's easy to get the adustments wrong on the Koni's and if you're not tracking it, there's no sense in screwing with them.
