    Seat Braces - I also have a 1985 Mustang GT, it seems the Fox bodied Mustangs had a big problem with the floor pan tearing due to the lack of bracing on the rear mounts of the front seats, hence the braces on some brands of SFCs. Do the SN-95 bodied Mustangs have the same problem? Mark

    Hey its not that funny, It didn't smoke before the synthetic oil was put in. The guys at mustanggt.org told me there are problems putting in syn oil in high mileage cars! Stupid syn oil cost me a set of heads! Anyways the Mobil 5-30 works great in the 98 GT :D

    Do not put synthetic oil in a high mileage car, I tried this in my 85 GT with 150,000 and it began to smoke like crazy.

    I have a 98 GT, I noticed that Steeda sells the 2003 GT PI heads for $750.00. That is cheap, a set of aluminum heads for my 85 5.0 sells for over a grand! It says that additional modifications and parts are needed, can anyone be more specific.

    I had the 4.10 installed two weeks ago, I went cheap and bough a 23 tooth speado gear. plopped the gear in tightened it about as tight a a spark plug and drove it about 75 miles. the way home going 5 mph in neutral I noticed a cyclic clicking noise which disipates when I touch the brakes...
