    It's gotta be a misprint. If you notice they have an option for a 4-speed auto (05s have 5-speed autos).

    They did the same thing last year and the '04s definitely weren't leaving the lots in less than two hours. It's just business as usual.

    That's what the local dealers are telling me in regards to x-plan. It doesn't really matter to me at this point since I won't be ready to buy a Mustang until next year (hopefully there will be plenty on the lots by then).

    I had no problem finding Mazda dealers to honor my x-plan PIN. I'm not sure about d-plan though.

    You don't get it, svtguy! He doesn't care that the Hemi is in a big heavy SOB of a car and that it's actually slower than the Mustang. It's got 340HP baby! :rolleyes:

    From what I've heard, there was a price increase last week. However, that's a normal occurence throughout a model year. The '04 had several prices increases throughout last year. It has nothing to do with the trying to take advantage of the demand for the '05.

    I'm not sure if you ever noticed, but Jags cost alot more than Mustangs. I'm sure if you were willing to pay a Jaguar price, Ford would be willing to put a Jag engine in your Mustang. :rolleyes: BTW, I would consider the last gen Cobra engine superior to any Jag engine and the next gen...

    This is excellent advice! It's your money, buy the one that is right for you. Forum members can give you their opinions, but at then end of the day, it's your money and you have to live with the car you choose.

    Sure. I assume you have a D plan pin, correct? You should be able to use it anywhere. I've heard of people ordering '05s on A/X/D plan so I think that's bogus as well. Again, that may be up to the dealer to decide.

    That's what it sounds like. The nice thing about D plan is that you'll get exactly the same price for an identical car from another dealership.
