    Yep, it launched around 5000rpm but ran out of motor. It was the first time at the track with this setup and slicks. So more tuning is in order. Need some more sorting of the top loader four speed then the race motor will go in.

    new with custom suspension

    Stock V8 drum spindles, wilwood kit 11.75 rotor. UCAs are 9.5" this is from memory i dont have access to my suspension analysis. 300 lb spring. 7"travel AFCO shocks. did i get all answered. :D

    here are some action shots of the front suspension and complete setup hooking. it ran a 1.77 60 foot time with a 300hp motor. So the race motor should run a little better.

    Does anyone have a set of spindles laying around that they can measure? I am looking for the height of the spindle snout relative to the lower ball joint. The overall height of the spindle and the KPI. thanks

    Recommened Struts/shocks

    I have them on my 95 DD. They ride stiff but good. Im lowered about 2.5" all around. coilover conversion in the front and granatelli adjust spring perch LCAs in the back. With 245 tires I can pull .96Gs.

    TCP. everyone else uses crappy OEM parts that are not made to be beat on. If you ever plan on tracking the car only use TCP. TCP internals are Woodward parts. check out woodward steering and see the quality.

    i dialed in my brakes by adjusting the proportioner with making consecutive stops. If i notice brake fade in the rear drums I can dial them out to prevent the rears from locking up.

    why do you want to run MII spindles? What advantages are you looking for? I think trying to make an MII spindle fit is not worth the trouble. The main thing will be the custom steering arms needed to obtain some reasonable ackermann.
