    I think im losing power!

    That happended to a friend of mines 90 5.0.. After doing a tune up for him I noticed his distributor was loose and retarded itself. After putting it back to 13 degrees it was back running like a champ. Not saying that's the prob but is a starting point to check. Also could be sh#$ty gas.

    My 94 has a Jegs cable and firewall adjuster. I've never had one an aftermarket adjuster before. Before I start messing with it, how do you adjust it? Until there is no slack? Counter or clockwise. Any help is apreciated.

    Fuel smell while driving...

    When mine went bad I failed emmisions. My hc was 4 times the limit on the rollers. I went to a friends shop and when he looked at the readings he said that their equipment must be wrong. If it was right my car should be blowing black smoke.

    You need the lines from the fender because there is a soelenoid in there that regulates how much vacuum the egr gets. Is taht what you are asking?

    I believe the smog hoses are grey in color. The red goes to the vacuum source on the intake, the green goes to the egr. The smog tubes only pull vacuum on open loop. After the car reaches operating temp the soelenoids in the fender stop pulling vacuum allowing the air pump to pump only to the cats.

    vacuum issue? Are the injectors new? Check fuel pressure and vacuum readings. These sn 95's don't like a tight lobe seperation on the cam. Once your car hits closed loop the computer kicks on the o2 sensors and starts trying to control the idle. Check fuel, spark, vacuum and then get a chip...

    considering sellling the 95 and getting a 99-04. help me justify

    My 2003 went 14.0 stock, best time of 13.80 with a flowmaster cat back, tri ax, and a k&n with the silencer removed. My 2001 auto went 14.20 with some flows welded in the stock exhaust and a cold air kit. 14.0 with an off road h. The off road pipe made a huge diff in the auto.

    I don't have it, previous owner ripped it out. I need everything from under the hood including bolts. I know someone on here has to have a complete set up sitting in their garage that they want to get rid of, for money of course. :shrug:

    Welcome alot of good info and years of trial and error on here. If you have a problem with the stang somebody on here has had the same problem. 1st thing, tune up and mechanical look over. 2nd thing, off road H-pipe and cat back. This will wake the car up and make it sound like a Mustang...
