    Sonny and Cher's Mustangs?!?!?

This all comes as a big surprise to me, as I'd grown up respecting the Barris brothers' work, all of their 50's stuff is just gorgeous, and I thought that the later stuff was just bad 60's and 70's taste, not due to George not having the design flair of his brother. To hear that George is...

    Post Your Stang!

That's one fast idel you got there - I'd push the choke in a bit if I was you... We have annual safety and emissions inspections over here - it's just an excuse to get old cars off the road, and does nothing for safety. If your car fails, you got no money and you've got to get to work, what...

    The SN65 project car

I particularly like the way they've taken the time not to align the two 'R's between YOUR and RIDE on their website header. It looks dreadful...

    Newbie Help Pls

My vote goes for the perished diaphragm. If it has stood for any length of time, it goes brittle. Try priming the fuel line from the carb back to the pump - if the fuel pump is shot, fuel will most likely tiddle out onto the floor. I got mine to start by priming the carb through the vent...

Whats the voltage suppost to be at the ballast risistor?

They're not, the idea is that you need a fatter spark to start the engine when it's cold, than to keep it running. If you've got a nominal 12V to start with, it wasn't easy before cheap electronics to get more volts to give a fatter spark, so you design the system to give a good spark for...

not a mustang- but interesting stuff...

Based on what George W said this week, we'll all be running on ethanol in 10 years anyway. Then we'll see all the illegal stills in the back yard... Getting back to the point about big trucks, I thought the consumer was turning it's back on them, due to the gas prices you have.

not a mustang- but interesting stuff...

Yeah, we got a ton of 'em over here Lupos, Golfs, even the big Audi A6 gets 140bhp from it's 2 litre turbo diesel, and returns in excess of 40mpg. No manufacturer can survive in the European market without a diesel - you can even get diesel Jag now...

    Windshield Removal

The clips for the 65 are screwed in place (I believe) and are different to the 66 items which fit onto a small peg. Make sure you get the right ones... http://www.scottdrake.net/prod_details.aspx?prod_id=2409&catdesc=/Moldings%20and%20Ornaments/Exterior%20Moldings/Hood%20and%20Windshield...
