    The coating is clear coat and 3m sells a cleaner the does not hurt it. If it was not coated the aluminum would corrode like crazy Fast cleaning action for dirty throttle plates. Can be sprayed upside down. Cleans and lubricates. Safe for coated throttle plates.

    Well went with a new Ford gasket and new stainless washers to prevent any issues. If I get any leaks, won't be able to get into the wifes panties for a week !

    Aftermarket just improves that mustang feel. The wife had a stock shifter in the 97 GT and could not see spending the money. Well a FREE aftermarket shifter showed up and was installed. Well before the test she had no problems with stock shifter, but she had to grab the knob to shift...

    Think somthing to do with the tone ring for the abs on the carrrier. Mustangs have the rings on the axle's.
