    I have to ask about porting and cams now because I can see that without a supporting valvetrain and heads the power level just wont be what I really want if I* were to get the turbo setup. Boy, and what I had in mind was just a simpe s-trim with an impeller upgrade and call it quits.

    At the track turbo's would make a huge difference because you will be hovering around peak hp for many more rpms!!

    I know, but see 600 rwhp is more than enough for me, and if it isnt then I'll save and sell what I have!! I still am not set in stone though because the induction concepts setup just looks soo good !!

    well, for now because I wanted to overbuild the money is spent on the motor, but 280 to the wheels for a couple of months wont bother me at all. After that I plan on doing either just a tuner kit with S-trim and impeller upgrade with a small pully or saving for a couple more months and taking on...

    damn I think you sold me. :D although I have seen my builder make a 7 qt pan out of a factory one in about 20 minutes after the paint was sanded off......

    gotcha, need an oil pan, although I was going to stay with the factory one being that this is a street motor, but 7 qts would be nice.

    I would have to say unless you have a nice optima or other deep cycle battery that you fried your battery. A wrench in the works can draw much more current than the plates in most batteries can withstand.

    I have to post here, IMHO, ford has the drive idle speed adjusted too low, it is set to 560 while in drive from the factory. If they bumped it up to say another 20-25 r's and played with the dashpot decay settings (the settings that control how fast the r's drop and how it settles to idle)...

    just get your stock one resurfaced, stock will be more than enough, if you want to rev quicker use an alum. fly wheel.
