    Steeda Strut Tower Brace

I wount NOT recommend the Steeda 03-04 STB. It only mounts to the two strut towers and not to the firewall. Look around, there are better 3 or 4 point STB's out there. As far as install. It mainly drilling into the body. I did mine myself. But I don't thing it was as cleanly done as...

    suspension is going on!

Your car will feel like a totally different car :nice: and nowhere near as sloppy. On mine, the IRS bushings made it real abrupt on taking bumps, but then again I also did upper and lower IRS control control arm bushings at the same time. You will eliminate most of your wheel hop, but the...

New 99 Cobra Owner! Few questions...

First off congratulations on your purchase. As far as oil, especially on that low of miles, I would recommend nothing but synthetic. There are plenty of threads on this forum about oils and the advantages of synthetic. I personally run Series 2000 0w30 Amsoil. But that might be an overkill...

    what springs to lower cobra?

dang, a bunch of Eibach folks here me personally, I like H&R springs... but then again, I'm looking at it from a handling performance aspet. I would recommend H&R's and Bilsteins..The 03's bilstein used to be a good deal, but for what they go for now, I would recommend the Bilstein HD...

    Regular Unleaded Gas Question????

I would NOT recommend doing that at all. Like some said already, it will detonate and ping. This is bad, especially on 01's that already have ping issues. Alot of times, people can't even notice detenation at low levels, so they say their car runs fine. Then again, maybe they never rev it...

    Pro 5.0 or Steeda Tri-ax

I own the steeda and have tried the pro-5.0 many times, and i highly recommend the Pro-5.0 with a MGW customizable shift handle.... this is comming from a Tri-ax owner... http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang_shift_handle.html

    2004 Cobra + ?

the car has inherent understeer, but the 03-04 have the best job in feeling neutral for a Cobra, the stock suspension is the best to date if you want to corver carve, stick with the 275's out back, or else you will be pushing the car in the corners and straining the front tires to stay...

What will 3.73s do for my '01?

I say 4.10's that is neive for the record, people with 4.10's tend to get BETTER gas mileage in their cars than they did when they had the stock 3.27's

New in this place, 01 Cobra, couple ?'s

Nice choice :nice: like psnous said, 400 to the wheels is gonna be real tough... you would definitely need to crack into the engine and do a head and cams swap, maybe a stroker. Its ALOT cheaper to through on nitrous or a blower.

    got sum ideas...

I got the joke..as long as its a joke, no need to lecture ya. I would not get the Steeda U/D and T/A, especially not bang for the buck. gears would give you the best bang. or some exhaust. I would not recommend the T/A for our cars sine a chip would be able to take care of that and its...

cobra to sound euro tuned exhaust?

IMO the closest you will get is an FR500 Catback with a catted X pipe... the cats will mellow the engine growl and the X from X pipe and the X from the FR500 (two X's in the exhaust total) will make it sound pretty exotic compared to other choices. The fr500 by itself make the car have a...

    01 Cobra problems

Good info in this thread. If you do have a pinger, a good tuner can take car of it. mine does it under certain conditions (cold weather, hard acceleration) and talked to Jerry from SCT about it, he stated he had tuned many 01 pinger and its easy to fix, he even told me what values needed...

Anyone who tunes, wants to tune or is interested should read this

I was fortuante enough to watch Jerry tune a few month back. The guy is simply amazing. He makes it look so easy. In 3 runs, he tuned a 03 Cobra with a KB, cams and ported heads. The car came to him with a diablo chip tuned by strictly performance with 16 hours of billed dyno tunning done...
