LX wing on a GT? Any pics? Thoughts?

On a stock bumper GT, the GT wing is fine. If going to a Cobra or Saleen bumper, I like the LX wing. That green TT car that Mike guy on here had looked really good with the LX wing.

    3.55 ?

Word eventually got out and everyone was taking their car to this shop to have gears done. Remind you, this was over 7 years ago. I told a friend once about the shop and he said it was way too cheap and opted to go to a Mustang specialty shop. He spent around 600 total but it gave him the peace...

    3.55 ?

Taking just the differential to a garage isn't going to be any cheaper. I don't have experience but have watched gears being installed and it's just as easy to have the whole car on a lift while doing it. I had a shop do mine years ago for about 120 bucks in labor costs.

    BUYER BEWARE-CJ PONY PARTS!!!!!

I walk right on past their tent every year at Carlisle.......yeah, they suck. Long story short, one day a few years ago I was wrenching on the stang for whatever reason that I can't even remember and noticed my positive battery cable terminal was corroding. It was a busy week for me, and I...

New Metallica anyone? Here ya go!

^^^^ Yep, gotta agree. It's good, but missing something. James' voice is rather tame on this album, more smooth than previous albums. Songs on this album are long just like Justice but don't seem to keep my attention:shrug:

new LX tail light on my 87 Mustang GT! :)

I gotta agree that GT tails go great with a stock bumper and wing. Change the bumper and wing, then LX's look good. Stock look with LX's in kinda blah and IMO very played out.:notnice:

    Finally

I guess it's just a different crowd where I'm from. Years ago, all my friends with Mustangs had either the running horse or the Ford emblem and a front window decal . I guess times have changed. I think window stickers add character, so I'd leave that car alone. It looks good as it is.

    Finally

I beg to differ on the Mustang decal. Here, and only here is where the running horse hatch decal is constantly criticised. I've been running mine for about 8 years now and have always received compliments on it. I personally like the Ford emblem on it, but if you do want to change, there's...

    FRPP Bullit Pedals??

I like them overall. The rubber on the clutch pedal tore and a portion of the actual pedal is sticking through. You'll find out, these pedals truly aren't made for foxes because of such a different in shape. Honestly, if I had to do it all over again I'd put on a set fitted for foxes or just get...

    FRPP Bullit Pedals??

Yes I did.:D What a pain it was. If I would've know what kind of aggrevation was involved, I wouldn't have bothered since I have a very short temper. The clutch and brake pedals were a bit hard also. I actually had to boil water and put the pedals in to soften the rubber. If your a big guy...

    Ankle Carnage!

I rolled my ankle hardcore while skateboarding when I was younger and it looked just like that. Major swelling for a good couple weeks and it never fully healed until almost a year later.

Found some old pics I never posted... *WHORE TIME*

Fairfield/Gettsyburg area is not far from me at all. It's nice to see some locals finally. It seems like alot of the eatern PA Mustang scene died in the last couple years.

pictures from carlisle all ford nationals

There's only ever about 3-4 Capri's at Carlisle every year.:( I got the honor or seeing my favorite Capri last year which was an 85 ASC McLaren Coupe with the dark blue and orange strips. I hope every year to see more but the Capri's are always few and far between.

    why??

Different strokes for different folks. That car doesn't look all that horrid, I've seen way worse. The color is very appealing.
