    The the general concensus that I've seen is that the more effective a CAI is, the more it will alter the air to fuel ratio and the more likely you'll need a retune. C&L is one that is commonly stated as needing a reflash that gives excellent gains. Hope that helps.

    Yes, it will tell you that you're going slower than you actually are. Yes, it will add less miles on the odometer than you've actually gone. I believe it can be fixed by using a reflashing computer like a Predator or SCT. (But I've never done it myself) P.S. 6% would be closer to 3.6 MPH...
