    Worlds most powerful engine!

I've been inside one of them when I worked on a Maersk container ship. We pulled on of the pistons along with the rod in India. Ours was a 10cyl with 3 turbos, same basic setup as the one in the picture. I might have pictures if anyone wants to see em.

Camshaft Computer Controlled Compatible...what does this mean?

From what 86bluecobra stated, it depends on whether your car is mass air controlled. I converted mine to MAF from speed density and I'm almost positive that the 5.0's from 88 to 93 are MAF. I'm not sure if 94 and 95 5.0's are the same because I have no experience with them. I guess you could...

Don't know but my car runs fine and sounds great with that T.F. cam.

HELP new rebuild with TFS street kit and sealed power pistons

What cam and rockers are in there? The Trick Flow stage 1 and the 1.6 rockers? I don't know what those pistons are like, but I'm assuming they have a dome because I'm running the stage 1 and 1.7's on flat-tops with no problem. Maybe you could try a smaller cam or thicker head gaskets. Good...

Why no pics in people's garages??? Come On!

If it's a 'stang, then it's worthy in my book!

Why no pics in people's garages??? Come On!

I just updated my list, but I still have to take some good pictures of my just-completed engine rebuild. I'll post a thread when I get pictures and get to the dyno.

So what is it normally hooked up to? I have it but it's not hooked up to anything.

    just a thought....

Assuming you made some sort of ducting and got it to work, that air would be warmer than it would be from wherever your air intake is currently located. I'm not trying to shoot you down, but I think that it would be a hassle to rig up and then would probably hurt your performance.

    Intake manifold vaccum fittings

Cool, thanks guys, I didn't know if these were typical fittings or something special. Thanks for your help.

1986 5.0L any aftermarket heads fit with the flat top pistons?

Second that, you can even run a decent sized cam with Trick Flows. Inline heads might work too, but you won't be able to use as big of a cam without flycutting the pistons.

    Wire Hiding question

I was able to do mine without making the hole bigger, if I'm thinking of the same hole as you. Don't have any pictures yet, but it sounds like your question was answered.

    Intake manifold vaccum fittings

Quick question: I'm looking for the vaccum fittings that screw into the upper intake manifold (Edelbrock Performer for fuel injection to be specific). Specifically, I'm missing the smaller diameter fitting on the forward side and the t-fitting in the pcv line which is one the underside. Thanks...

Need some pointers on building up my 302!...

No prob, they told me the stage 2 would work with my flat-tops, however I opted for the stage 1 with 1.7 rockers. Take it easy man

Need some pointers on building up my 302!...

Not with any decent sized cam, the trick flow's will clear certain cams (look at the website), but will ultimately still depend on the cam specs.

Need some pointers on building up my 302!...

lol, you can make a stock cam surge at idle, just do a search for the surging idle checklist, and then do the opposite of everything it says.

Where do you work on your stang?

Rebuilding my engine in our barn, but it's a clean barn lol. No pics right now though.

    combo question

I agree with jrichker, a larger pump won't hurt anything. Since the price difference isn't much between the different sized fuel pumps, I will soon be getting the 255lph pump. It's not much more and if you make future mods, you will already have the pump to support it.

trick flow valve cover project - baffles? who needs em?

Do the trick flow covers not even have the holes to screw in baffles like the stock ones do? I got away with using the stock valve covers with the passenger side double gasketed for now. I was looking at the trick flow covers, but I didn't know how much work it would be to put baffles in.
