    Convertible window problems

The bushings were the problem on mine. They're cheap though, I got mine from Latemodel Restoration Supply, although other places probably have them as well. Also, this is obvious, but clean and lightly re-grease the guide rod. There was a ton of old grease on mine that made it run rough up...

Anti Pump-Up Lifters? And guess my shift point

This doesn't answer your question, but I'm about to start building the same setup except it will be fuel injected. When you finish I would love to know your hp, torque, quarter mile times, or just how it feels to drive! Sorry I don't know about the lifters.

    Engine build opinions

Yea, with help from a friend who has experience, but I'll gladly accept any tips/tricks/suggestions. I'm doing it mainly to go faster, but also to gain the experience.

    Engine build opinions

I've got an Edelbrock Performer on it right now, which will unfortunately have to stay on for a while due to funds (or lack of!)

    Flex Fans...

Cool, then I am 99.9% certain my information is correct. Unless there is something strange or unique that I don't know about. If there is anything else please let me know. BTW, I was able to install mine without removing the fan shroud, but make sure you wear gloves b/c the radiator will...

    Engine build opinions

I'm rebuilding my engine this winter and plan on getting some new goodies. The 5.0 has probably around 100,000 miles on it (not sure because the speedometer&odometer were broke for a long time, and just broke again). The block and crank are in great shape in my opinion, and I had it verified...

    Flex Fans...

Good point, mine is a reverse rotation, I'm not sure about 85. Sorry, I completely forgot about that. Hopefully my information is correct pertaining to 86-93 reverse rotation engines.

    Flex Fans...

My fan is Flex-a-Lite's 18" diameter fan for reverse-rotation systems (yes, it does have to be reverse-rotation). Summit Racing and Brothers Performance list it as part number FLX-1518. It's $50 plus you will need a 2" spacer which is around $15. The fan blows an insane amount of air, I...

    Flex Fans...

To answer your original question, I have the exact fan from the previous post (Flex-a-Lite) and it works fine for me. I live in Ohio, but I drove the car around southern Florida for a few weeks on a vacation. It did fine in stop-and-go traffic. That was with the stock thermostat too. It was...

    The stang is wrecked :(

I've got a nice wreck story that might make you feel a little better. I had my car the nicest it has ever looked for the 2005 fun ford weekend car show at Norwalk Raceway. I live a few miles from the track, so I drove it home Saturday night with the intention of putting it in the garage for...
