    The 4.2 Ford block is a sixer, isn't it? Even a 3.8L stroked out to 4.2 or 3, or with a 4.2L block as a base, with the right work AND forced induction, you're looking at some really nice numbers. Of course using forged internals will be a must.

    Almost forgot. Another reason they claim LT's don't fit 98's is that there is a small difference in the placement of the EGR tube for the 98's, and no one wants to make a one-year specific LT. YOu might be able to get away with using LT's for a 97, but I'm not certain.
