    Distributor Install Question

    Just got a new billet distributor, the factory one's shaft is starting to squeal. Not bad for 19 years!!!! Need to know what's the best thing to put on the distributor gear before I drop it in??? Regular oil, break-in oil, or some kind of cam lube??

    Bushings And Lube??

    Just got a whole bunch of front polyurethane bushings. I was wondering which ones need to be lubed. Only the sway bar mount bushings came with grease. What about the steering rack bushings and sway bar endlinks, should those need any grease?? If so, what's the best stuff to get at the parts store?

    If anyone has a scantool or similar with DCL data I was wondering if you can help. I'm getting 0.00v on O2 sensor 1, but O2 sensor 2 is giving me voltage numbers. Wondering if yall can hook up your tools and see if your getting the same thing. Not sure if those are for cars with rear O2's...

    Alternator pulley nut

    I got it off, I hit it with some wd-40 and let it sat for awhile. Took it off and brought it inside, since my impact is too loud outside. Pushed down hard on it and kept hitting the button. Took awhile, but it finally came off.

    How do I drill and extract it?? Just drill a bit into it and then use a vise grip or something and turn it out??

    Torque wrench was set at 10 ft lbs. Never used one before on valve covers and now I know why!! Im using the ford racing reusable gaskets. There is really no part sticking out at all, it's about level with the head.

    Broken valve cover bolt

    Just snapped off the middle lower valve cover bolt when torquing them in. Anyone think it might be ok and not leak??? Going to be a few days before I start it up anyway, so I can't find out right now. I'm so pissed!!
