    Man up?? Im in Phoenix, it wont be under 100 during the day for about 3 months. It hit 113 last week. I doubt you have the same issue in Jersey. Besides, the whole thing with pully not spinning while the belt is, might be a problem...

    Thanks Guys! I appreciate the help. It looks like autozone has just the AC clutch for $135, they have a rebouild compressor with the clutch in stock for $159 though. should I buy the whole thing? Or will it end up costing alot more cause I will have to refill the freon?

    It was running smooth when the A/C went out. I didnt drive my mustang yesterday or today. Its been to hot to risk going without the A/C. I'll take her for a spin tonight and see what happens.

    The AC did stop working after I went WOT. Kind of like the relay turned off the A/C when I floored it and it never came back on. I believe the Constant control relay controls this... Does anyone know how much the part costs outside of a dealership?

    Yesterday on the way home from work, the A/C turned off on its own. The vents were still blowing, but it was not cooling the air at all. I turned the A/C on and off several times hoping this would help and it finally started getting cold again after about 20 minutes. I dont know what to look...

    rattle noise..what is it?

    I had a similar rattle in the same RPM range. Sounded like the cats, but I have an O/R H Pipe, so no cats. Turned out one of the front 02 sensors worked its way loose.

    Anyone ever have their hood unlatch at high speed?

    I have never had a problem with the hood closing before. I always lift on the hood after closing it to make sure it "caught". I'll check it out when I get home tonight. Sure scared the crap out of me thinking it might fly open at 120 though.

    Health Insurance... How much you pay?

    Just turning the paper work in for mine today. $320 month for the family plan (thats just medical) and i still have a $250.00 deductible per person. Then they only cover 80% of the medical costs. I have to cover the other 20%... this really sucks.

    if air gets into my brakes system

    If you let the reservoir run dry when bleeding the brakes, you will need to bleed the MC. It happened to me and I couldn't get much pedal pressure till I bled the MC.

    metal vibration @ 2000 rpms 2003 GT

    I have the exact same issue. Same RPM's too. I tried the bending the dust shields on the brakes last week and the vibration changed to 2800 RPM for a few days. Please post up if you are able to resolve this. That vibration is driving me nuts.

    I went down to the parts counter at the ford dealership on my lunch today and tried to pick up a PCV valve. The guy told me that the part is $46 because the 2004 mustangs use an electronic PCV valve. I was expecting something around $9-$15 for the part. Can someone confirm the part number...
