    The Cluelessness Of Today’s Youth!

Kids today are clueless... unlike back when I was a teenager. Me and my buddies knew everything. o_O My son-in-law is in his early 20s. He has an 04 Mach that he bought--it is a ragged out car, beat to death by the PO. And he doesn't know much about it, but he is trying to learn. He follows me...

    Love This Car

Gotcha Jordan. So sorry for challenging your expert opinion, and hurting your wittle feewings. OP,feel free to select your parts with the Summit catalog and a dartboard, cuz then, you know, Jordan won't think you're boring, lame, and gay. I know that's of primary importance to me when I'm...

    2013 Gt 5.0 Or A 2009 Gt500

Yeah, a 1000 is amazing, but it's made of unobtainium in my world. This is pretty sexy too--and the STRIPES are part of the attraction:

    Love This Car

A "306" is nothing more than a 302 with an overbore. The stroke is not changed at all. There is essentially no performance difference between an equally prepared stock motor, and one with a .030 overbore. Right, because your average hobbiest has a way better understanding of the...

    2013 Gt 5.0 Or A 2009 Gt500

If I were in the market for a used Shelby, I'd try to stretch into an 11 or 12. Prices are coming down quite a bit thanks to the Trinity, so it's not as big of a jump from an 09 to an 11 as it was a few years ago. You get the chassis improvements, plus the aluminum block. The Coyote GTs are...

What Do You Think Is Wrong With My Mustang?

Hey, when you live in AK, you'll take all the sunshine you can get.

    A Night In Denver

Aw, man, I know how this is going to end... Mike's gonna get beat by a Fairlane with a blower and a straight axle, thus starting his weird perversion for Futura Foxes. :rlaugh:

    What To Do....need Some Opinions

Cool! Now, don't look back. If it's a good decision today, then it was a good decision, even if some things don't go exactly as planned, although that almost never happens with old cars.o_O pics?

    Well,...that Wasn't Fun.

Dang, I was just teasing! Didn't think you'd take it like that! Probably for the better... you were having to work too hard to like it. Just don't take too long to get back in the game, ok?

    Well,...that Wasn't Fun.

Said the guy who fabbed up a 68 Fox. Didn't know you were looking for "easy". Now you know why all the cars look the same at the cruise-in. Sorry, guess I overestimated your skills. :stick: http://www.sn65.com/SN65 story.htm [/sarcasm] Mod motor swaps are actually becoming relatively...

    Well,...that Wasn't Fun.

If you're gonna do a termy transplant, do it to an old 65-68 coupe! You can pick up a 6 cyl no rust car forcheap, swap everything over, get your ego stroked at the cruise in, and at least break even when you get bored and decide to sell. please, though- nota Fairmont. Heck, do a Maverick, or...

    What To Do....need Some Opinions

Do you have the money to buy one outright? If so, is your buddy's the best deal you can find? Put another way: pretend for a minute that you sold your truck right now for cash, at a REASONABLE price. Scan C-list for all the Stangs for sale. Would you buy any of them over your buddy's car...

Can't Make Up My Mind What I Want To Do

Haven't used any Griggs stuff yet, looking at it for my 67. I used MM stuff on my 95. I really liked their products as well- well made, good instructions and product support, and really improved the handling. They don't make anything for the first Gen cars though,.

Can't Make Up My Mind What I Want To Do

You might give them a follow up call next week. I found that several of the places I emailed found my message in their junk folder. Seems a ".mil" address is often viewed as spam. Guessing you've already seen this, but here's their page for the full kits for the 94-95...

    Speedometer Way Off!! Need Help

Before you go pulling diff covers, jack the back end up, (put the car on jack stands!), put the car in neutral, and make an index mark on the driveshaft. While a helper rotates the rear tire EXACTLY one turn, count the number of turns the driveshaft makes. Slightly more than 4 rotations...
