    im goin to put in some new plugs, wires and coil packs this weekend. im going to stick with autolight plugs but what would you recomend for wires and coil packs? im not lookin for top of the line just the best bang for the buck.

    thanks for the compliments guys. no its not lowered, that particular day i had about 150lbs of stuff in the trunk that i was taking to houston so the rear-end was saggin a bit.

    i washed and waxed the stang last weekend with good results. and all i can say is wheel brushes must have been invented by a guy who had turbine wheels haha. :flag: what do you think?

    5.0 block reliability

    im very mechanical savy when it comes to rebuilding engines, but i dont have a hoist any more. is it possible to rebuild them with the block still in the engine bay, i dont know if thers anything blocking the bottom from pulling out the crank and such.

    im thinking of selling my 2.3 fox and buying a 87-93 5.0 fox. hows the reliability on these motors? a couple or all original foxes im looking at are between 120k-160k miles with regular oil changes, whats your thought on these? thanks guys

    Thinking of getting a 4.6 how reliable are the mod motors?

    i know some guys who drive people in 4.6 town cars i saw one with over 200K and it ran well. most ive seen have 120k-170k and run great.

    claking from bellhousing

    when the clutch is engaged there is a 'clack clack clack' noise comming from the bellhousing area at idle. but its hardly noticible untill i turn on the a/c, than it gets really loud. but when i push in the clutch the noise goes away. it doesnt bother me much but should i worry and check it out?

    i love my '93 2.3. mines a 5spd though but it now has 147xxx miles on her and runs like new, i dont even have to add any oil between oil changes suprisingly. im only the 3rd owner too and the last owners had a lot of service records and new parts. i drive about 30 miles a day and a 600 mile trip...

    thats what i got in the mustang *eek*. the previous owner must have drained the system and put staight antifreeze in it. thers no contaminents in the fluid and its not acidic so im wandering if its ok, it never freezes here either.
