    Gran Turismo 4 Car list

It's going to ship with that wheel, shifter, and pedals? Aw crap, that means I'm actually going to have to buy a PS2 now...

    Leaked email from Ford Employee

3800lbs? If not for that single number, I might have been able to believe a little of what was said in that "e-mail". However, I can't even begin to understand how the a non-convertible could end up weighing that much without IRS. I believe it may well have throttle-by-wire, but as for not...

    2005 Cougar

The Couger name is more associated with the FWD V6 car of late than anything else. My point isn't so much that the Couger name should come back as that, but that Mercury would be far better off producing such a vehicle than trying to compete with the Mustang. The market isn't big enough to...

    Here It Is: Uncamouflaged!

That's about what I was expecting it to look like, and I'm definately looking forward to somebody leaking some photos of the rear end as well. Now, about that bubble hood... Erm... there has to be a reason for the hood line to be so high, as I'm not sure that's just from the angle. Can't see a...

    2005 Cougar

Looks too much like the new Chrysler "sport" coupe, the Crossfire. After seeing one of those on the road, I'm not sure how I feel about the styling. It's certainly eye-catching, but it's not nearly as sexy as, say, a 350Z. And the engine leaves much to be desired.

    Drove an RX-8

The reason there's no turbo RX-8 yet is because Mazda used high-compression rotors on it (10.0:1). Unlike with piston engines, lowering the comrpession to accommodate a turbo is not quite a straightforward process, because you have to engineer a whole new rotor (plenty of off-the-shelf parts...

    2005 Cougar

Bah, if the Couger comes back, I'd much rather see it as a FWD or AWD turbo or supercharged 4cyl perhaps. Something built to slay the sport compact crowd. That would go a lot further to save the Mercury brand than a Mustang clone. Just look at how much success Dodge is having thanks to the...

    2005 Cougar

I think it looks like crap, personally. Ford would never allow a Mercury cousin of the Mustang unless it was a very different car (unlike the Capri of the early 80's).

2005 Mustang Concept Car / Spy Shots Gallery

If you would give up buying F-series trucks because you didn't like the styling of the new Mustang, then you sir, are an idiot.

2005 Mustang Concept Car / Spy Shots Gallery

To add fuel to the fire, a friend of mine who works at a Ford dealer recently saw pictures of the final production model. He says that the front end is the same as what we saw in the spy shot, but the rear end is somewhat different. The second pic of the interior (the one with the steering...

Street Master, Master of all things automotive, Super Stallion

Has anybody here actually watch Bullit? I just rented the movie over the weekend, and I must say that it has one of the best chase scenes I've ever seen. No annoying music, just the revving of the engines and the honking of horns as the other drivers get angry. To quote Eric Cartman, "SWEET!"

Street Master, Master of all things automotive, Super Stallion

I saw American Outlaws opening night, Rush Hour 2, and American Pie 2 opening night. All three were quite good in my opinion, which marks the first time I've ever seen three consecutive movies that I enjoyed. Maybe that's because I picked them instead of my girlfriend.. Hmm... I don't...
