    my idea of a II...

I think what they mean is, not for use with STOCK automatics. I think most prostreet guys run autos, and I know my buddy did in his 358" Vega that went a quickest of 9.37 quartermile. (2-speed powerglide is a great drag auto when built properly) I would *hate* trying to launch my car with a...

    my idea of a II...

Automatics and big cams get along great, so long as the torque converter stall speed is matched with the power range of the motor. I run a 250i/260e dur @.050", solid lifter cam with a little more than .600" lift, and the C4 works very well with it, even idling at 1300.

    Fender Flaring?

That's the flares I'm after. Nice. I'm running 275/40ZR17s on the back, (11.5" tread width, the Cobra R wheel is about 10") and I just barely got them to fit in there, after trimming the flare lip, but I want to go wider. I'm thinking 315 or even 335/40s after those flares.

    As rare as a Packard?

No, I think he meant "used to sit", as in, the car was literally used to sit, perhaps because it was missing a transmission or something and so it just made a good outdoor chair?

    As rare as a Packard?

A Matador. Amazing turn-around. Kinda cool looking, though that wing's gotta go.

    As rare as a Packard?

I like the '85 because it has a clean, simple look to it. Well, and the 4bbl roller cammed 210hp 302 doesnt hurt, either. heh. I guess I like the foxes more for what they're capable of, than for their looks.

    my idea of a II...

Is that flowmasters I hear? That car sounds as good as it looks. And that little chick getting out of that evil-looking car at the end of the vid, totally cool. haha Seriously, one of the nicest Mustangs I've ever seen.

    As rare as a Packard?

Even most aliens from some distant planet could appreciate a car like this guy's. If you're from Earth, and you still don't like it, all I gotta say is, crack kills.

    As rare as a Packard?

It's so easy to get performance from a II, I don't see why people mind the 136hp factory 302 so much. It's not like you gotta change the whole car, or anything, just drop on some high compression heads, performance cam and 4bbl carb/intake, like you do on ANY factory 2bbl V8. Do they really...

    As rare as a Packard?

Well, bring on the real "muscle" Mustangs. Turns or straight, my II is ready anytime you are.

    As rare as a Packard?

Seriously. I see more AC Cobras prowling the streets than I see IIs. It's nuts.

    my idea of a II...

Is it just the result of the camera flash, or is that an insanely bright blue on that engine? Cool. Also, just out of curiosity, judging from the shape of that huge oil pain, where is the crossmember in that car??

    my idea of a II...

Hey, not only did you add some nice wheels to her pony, you also enhanced its virtual stopping power with those huge rotors. Sweet.

Too many people "right click and saving" might crash the server. haha

    What would you do?

    Hey, '69-'74 351W heads with 1.84"i x 1.54"e valves are factory, too.
