Oooh oooh, a new person to hate!

That amazon server must be an underpowered p.o.s. I hit reply, and it just sat there, so I got impatient and hit it a few more times, still nothing. All of a sudden, a whole bunch of replies went through. Oops. haha. Oh well, at least I got my reply to work.

Let me translate what the cop said to you. "I used to try to repair rust and dents on cars in my backyard with duct tape and spray cans."

    cobra "R" wheels

Yes, I used spacers and the 3" long race wheel studs to backspace the 17s correctly. I also narrowed my upper control arms for clearance to increase steering travel. (It will turn tighter now than it did with the stock wheels and uppers) The tires on the front are 245/45zr17s, and the back are...

    What would you do?

RV cam?? Why not a mild performance cam to use with the ported heads, such as a 220i/230e dur @.050"? Also, those factory alum. HO 4bbl intakes have terribly small ports. I went with an old 289 4bbl cast iron intake because they have much larger ports, back before I could afford an...

    Holley carb stumbles

I hate that PCV. I also tapped into the middle of the plenum(since the Race Demon has no vac ports) I think I'm going to set up some type of electric vac pump to operate the power brakes, and the pcv system at hopefully 18"-20" of vac. My engine struggles enough with only 7" of vac, it doesnt...

    Holley carb stumbles

BG Demon carb trivia: A single Demon on an RPM intake made more hp AND more low speed torque than an aftermarket race fuel injection setup. They're awesome carbs. The billet alum. base plate and metering blocks are totally cool, too. The base plate is a hell of a lot tougher than the standard...

    Holley carb stumbles

That's true, they used to blow EVERY time, now it's maybe half or even a third of the time. The powervalve is open, in its resting state. The spring keeps it wide open. Engine vacuum at the rated inches defies the spring and causes the valve to remain closed. The instant the vacuum drops, the...

More compression = greater efficiency. Also, 3.4" stroke of the 347" motor has more leverage than the 3" stroke of the stock 302, therefore, yes, the motor has a lot more low end torque, which is where you need it to be for fuel mileage.

    Holley carb stumbles

Yes, and I've still seen blown powervalves.

But the motor will idle rich, without the valve to control fuel at idle.
