    Guys with ZEX "wet" kit post here, need help

    Slow5.0 I'm in a similar situation as you. I'm very interested to see how the ZEX NMU responds to the Tweecer. I might go with a Trickflow nitrous kit over the ZEX just because I'm not really sure how to piece together the NMU with the Tweecer unless you're not using the NMU at all.

    347 Decision made

    The idle sucks balls. I have a tweecer and it helps some but I still have idling issues especially when the weather changes. O and I wouldn't buy an Anderson cam if I had the option again. They aren't "custom" they're basically like off the shelf cams for $150 more.

    FTI or Anderson Ford Motorsports. There's a few others that people talk about on the boards. I think Bennet Racing does them as well. Just do a search for "custom cam" and you'll get a lot of results.

    Sound clips are kind of deceiving though because of the variations in audio pick-ups, etc. Some people take clips in their garage where the sound echos and then it sounds totally different outside. I would base your decision on what you hear in person.

    top speed?

    AFR heads, custom cam, Performer RPM II, good fuel system, supporting gear, etc. you'll easily see 12's. As for 175mph+ you should think about a T-56 6 speed, coilovers, probably some type of wing for adequate downforce, high speed rated tires... that's pretty f'in fast man.

    dynomax bullet mufflers

    I have a Flowtech X-pipe. It was such bad quality though that only the actual X still remains of the original piping, the rest of it is all custom welded. Like I said, I wouldn't get straight-through style mufflers with an H-pipe.
