    That's the main issue right there, you're fortunate in that you shouldn't have a problem with it. I didn't have any issues with installing mine. In fact, due to a stubborn inspector :mad: I had to remove it, install the stock one to pass inspection, then remove the stock one and reinstall...

    Drone reduction ideas please

    If it wasn't for the drone, they would sound pretty good. With 4.10s, on the highway in 5th, 75 mph is about 2500 rpm, well above the drone zone. Even 70 is tolerable. But yeah, 2000 rpm induces headaches.

    Drone reduction ideas please

    I agree, the best solution is to replace the mufflers. I don't know how to explain this, but changing to 4.10 gears (from stock 3.27) seemed to reduce the drone for me. It's probably related to: While the drone is still loud and annoying, to me it's not nearly as bad as it used to be...

    How much?

    I thought I saw a picture awhile back of side scoops removed - there were very large holes / openings there. :( I think someone was going to remove the scoops but was discouraged after seeing the large holes, and got Bullitt scoops instead.

    To All: Be careful with your Filler Pipe!!

    +1 I don't mean to sound like a Ford homer, but I've had little trouble with two Fords and a significant amount of trouble with older GMs, Mazda, Saturn, and especially Plymouth.
