    CLutch cable

Seems like the answer to your question would be to just purchase a setup from 1 company. Seems like Maximum motorsports seems like the way to go since they offer multiple setups but their all package deals. This was they already did the homework for you and everything should fit perfectly. It's...

    CLutch cable

I am pretty sure that a NON-ADJUSTABLE cable will not work with your BBK quadrant. I have switched out mine because it held the cable in the factory location which is too far back. You need to purchase a 3 hook design like the UPR one to get the functionality you need. You will find yourself...

Anyone ever notice a difference in going from 9:1 to 10:1?

Compression = horsepower Superchargers and Turbos increase compression which is how they make more power. Yes, you will make more power but make sure to increase the octane in your fuel. 92-93 octane will be plenty. As far as sound output, your car should have a bit more "bang" coming...

    No tailpipes or dumps

I have heard of cars boiling the fuel even without being road raced using no dumps. I say use dumps or have the chance of heating up your fuel and losing performance, possibly causing your car to blow up if it boils. Is it worth the risk for a different sound? Your call.

    Clutch ?

Get your stock flywheel resurfaced if it isnt in bad shape. Otherwise go with a stock replacement flywheel and king cobra clutch. AWESOME setup!! Better than my Centerforce Dual Friction and Pro Motion Custom setup ever will be!!! I wish I wasnt making the hp I am tho... Otherwise...

    Last minute dyno advise

Besides the usual tune-up stuff (fuel filter, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, exhaust leaks) A camera is pretty much the best thing you could have so all of us can enjoy the outcome (good or bad :D ).... preferrably bad :p )

    Enough Fuel Supply for S-Trim?

Should be ok. I have the GSS340 Pump and Inline setup which should be good for about 500rwhp. The GSS340 is mainly to keep the pressure up at high rpms and high accelerations. Because you are using the T-Rex pump, that will be your aid in keeping the pressure and volume to it's max. Both...

Chinese Cobra Intake or Chinese Typhoon Intake?

I agree with D-Man. My intake fit perfect and required just to be bolted on. When I check the port matching onto my ported stock E-7's.... Perfect Match. Just a tad smaller than the head ports. This debate has been beaten to death. The chinese intakes are GOOD DEALS and if you want to SAVE...

Rear Control Arms - adjusting wheel position in well (fwd-aft)

No, you have it backwards. Adjustable Lower Control Arms ALLOW you to locate the wheel from front to back. The setup is similar to an Adjustable Upper Control Arm except their not double adjustable meaning you have to unbolt it, spin it in or out , than bolt it back up. Some manufacturers...

How many here are using crane 1.7 rockers with the stock valve covers?

I'm doing this. On the drivers side all I'm using is a Mr. Gasket Cork Gasket. On the Passenger side i beat the baffle in a little. I ended up using the stock ford gasket in combination with a Mr. Gasket Cork Gasket. Don't have a problem with them hitting at all. I would try buying a...

BEWARE: Pics of cheap bushings Granatelli

I was in the SAME dilemma. I got J.R.Granatelli on Corral.net to send me some new ones for free. They took care of my pretty good talking directly to Granatelli. told me they got a bad batch of bushings which I believe since they turned to crap so fast. Weight Jacker Lower Control Arms 1.5...

    Fuel pump pickups

I would NOT do what superhuman just recommended. I would do a bit more research before doing this. There is a reason why NO ONE else is running a non-gravity fed external fuel pump. Pretty sure that fuel needs to ALWAYS be in the pump during startup. With this setup, each time you crank it, the...

What brand Floor Jack do you use? Sears Aluminum?

http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11186866&whse=BC&topnav=&browse= I got one similar to this one but 2 ton and it is awesome for $75 I believe. They sell them locally at my Costco in NJ so I don't think you can get them at any one. Dual piston design and very predicatable...

    PMS or Tweecer????

I am also in the same dilemma. I currently have a dyno tuned chip but recent displacement upgrades have caught me being lean. Now unless I can get this side deal done, a reburn will cost roughly $500 all done which is the price of a used PMS unit. I am willing to learn but not happy that I will...

    Question about head bolts

Take one out at a time starting with the middle one. Here are the steps to go by redoing the LOWER headbolts, not uppers as they are ok. 1) Drain coolant from motor as BEST as you can. The more gone the less chance of having a leak. If possible, unscrew the drain from block on the drivers...

2 Power Adders 600+RWHP and have a few ?'s of all sorts

If you want to order from Jegs. This is the base motor I would start with. It is a 351 but I'm sure you can get it in a 302 or 347 whichever you prefer, just call them. It comes down to the fact you need a good block and this is the only one Jegs offers right now that has a block to suit your...

Right on, just bought a BBK SSI!

I have a Typhoon Intake and have no problem getting both of my valve covers off without touching the upper intake. It's a little tight getting the socket in there but defiantly not a problem.

Meziere or CSI electric water pump for weekend street drivn?

I believe the Meziere might encorporate a "free" pulley allowing the belt to be ran like stock instead of having to reroute it. Not sure of your setup but either pump will do you fine. I run a CSI on my weekend cruiser and have not had a problem in the last 4 years its been on there.
