    No, their stainless works mufflers. Readily available from Summit Racing. They do resemble sweet thunders but a little different. They were like $115 a piece so they weren't cheap either. I'm glad they sounded good cause it was an experiment!!

    I don't think so. LaRocca's has a new owner and the guy who did the tuning just got fired not too long ago so I don't know who these guys are. I have a LM-1 Wideband I plan on hooking up this weekend to check my A/F for the time being, and if its still safe, than i'll worry about it next spring...

    Yep, 130,000 miles, 405rwhp and it still was going strong. The only reason I got a new shortblock is cause I popped a total of 3 head gaskets before throwing in the towel. I think it was just my block deck wasn't flat...... and 10psi of boost didn't really help much either.

    I made 405rwhp with a 302 and stock cam and 2-1/4" flowmasters. With the only upgrades being a 331, cam, and mufflers, I expect somewhere around 450rwhp @ 8-9 psi.

    I would get a 331 just for a "little" increase of reliability (I have no proof of this, just own personal feeling), being you want it to last the longest. With a good set of heads, intake, and cam will net you 330-340rwhp, than a 75 shot will net you 400rwhp no problem. Sounds like a livable...

    I say throw them in your basement where it wont be viable to extreme temps and your golden. How long do people want these tires to last in reality!??!? After 5-6 years, I'd be worried about racing on them anyways, even if i did "properly" store them. I keep my slicks mounted, all year round...

    I would search for a good set of used heads, intake, throttle body setup if you only have 4,000 for the whole build.     Header Gasket and bolts

    Make sure to get 1" long bolts, not 3/4" as they are not long enough, especially if you have aftermarket headers with a thick flange. And I use Mr.Gasket Copper Gaskets with NO PROBLEMS. They don't burn out and can be reused many times before needing to be replaced
