    X2 on these mounts. They are the same price you will pay for the stock setup which is crap. These are the ones i have, and it did help with header / motor install. 289/302/351 all have the same motor mount point on the block.

    Headers for 65 with 347 and Z Heads?

    Well, im assuming the exhaust ports are raised, which is giving you the problem. Maybe try a 351 swap header? It might give you clearance in the right spots. Id suggest the hooker headers. They are not cheap, but fit way better then the heddman crap. Just a idea.

    pull the number 1 spark plug, and hand turn the motor over via a big wrench untill you get on the compression stroke. You will feel a lot of air coming out of the plug hole at that point, (enough to where it pushes your finger off the hole. Then watch the degree's on your crank till it hits...

    The welder im planning on getting ths summer is a Miller Auto feed. For about $800, it does some awesome welds. You just tell it what size metal your welding, and what size wire your using, and it does the rest.
