    A used GT500 is gonna run you over 30k. I agree with the new 5.0 idea. Your can get a used 2011 for about 20k, maybe less. I had this same dilemma a while back. My bank account made the decision for me: keep the 96 GT. Off topic...What air frame do you work?

    I agree. Ball joints. I just had the same symptoms a few months ago and that fixed it. Just rent a ball joint press from autozone. Also, use a hand torch to heat ball joint shaft and spindle will come off much easier.

    It depends on what you want out of them. If you want mostly good looks, IMO nothing beats 18x9 in the front and 18x10 DD in the back.     Confession- I used to be a ricer...

    I wasn't really a ricer, but I did have a 96 Blazer that I put flowmasters and euro tail lights on. I also put four 12" subs with a 2000w amp in it along with neon lighting inside. So that was kind of ricey.

    Should I use Mobil 1 motor oil?

    I used to use Mobil 1 and my car was burning about a half-quart or so between changes. I switched to Royal Purple and now I'm going 5k+ miles between changes with not a drop burned. My vote goes to RP.
