And homelessness would be a "brand new" experience for me...
"Hey buddy what put you out on the street, drugs, booze...?"
"Friggin turbomotor man, Stangnet got me hooked on that crap..."
I know, I know. I just don't want to, well I don't know. This whole turbo 4 thing has become a white rabbit for me. At first I was staunchly against it. Then I got a place with a garage. But I want to build a motor from the ground up too...I'll see what happens.
Your right, I am sure there atleast a couple of people who own an SVO and don't knnow what they've got, and probably don't take care of it either... :(
Where are the options?(I saw the options come up after I posted  )
How about:

I like this one best as it hearkens back to Go! with Moon!(Moooneyes Performance) and gives it a real go...
Well as y'all know I have begun amassing parts for a turbo mill. So far I have a nice bare oval port head and a new distributor.
A block I had been watching on eBay is back on due to a non-paying bidder who outbid me a month or so ago. The seller said he would relist this month. It is back on...
What you are asking is not likely to happen, SVO owners are mad crazy about their cars and most consider 5.0 slows to be inferior(SVO program was killed by Ford V8 program guys as I understand). If I had an SVO I sure as heck would not trade for a 5.0...
It would be cooler if you did a fuel injected turbo four, no doubt your instructor would give you a better grade. If anyone else does a motor for their project as well, you can kill his motor in all the bench races with your boost turned up . :D
$2.67 a gallon for premium here, tanked her up today for $33.10. Still had 1/8 tank when I fueled her...
"What are you doing? Don't drink it all!"-man to his horse
Maybe not...the idle still drops by 150 to 200 rpm when the car sits for a moment. I have noticed a high pitched noise that stops when the rpms drop. Tell me, could a failing power steering pump put a drag on the engine at idle, or even an alternator where the bearing are shot?
Again the car...
James, finally tried the base idle reset today(I waited a long time, I know). It seems to have done the trick, at least with the car just idling in front of the driveway. I will road test her more to make sure. Thanks for the tip! Thanks again to all who responded.
It is well known in this forum that pulleys have no effect on this engine. But just for laughs and giggles check out Racer Walsh for them, then decide if you want to shell out for something that may net you a performance gain you can't even feel.
Well, for me the reason is inability to find a turbo motor, I have a nice oval port head and an NOS Ford dizzy, but hell if I can even get a bare block(large journal). So the build is on hold until I can get a complete motor or a good block to build. It'd be a great project if I could start...
