    rollbar/subframes install question

I rarely suggest that anyone build thier own cage, but with a kit and taking your time you will get it done. The best part is that when done you will be able to step back and say "I built that". Just be vary aware of your welding skill and make sure you are up to the level. Its all in practice...

    rollbar/subframes install question

just because it passes "tech" does not make it safe. I have seen some really scary stuff be considered "race" legal. Im not trying to bash on anyones cage work, it just that some break some serious basic design issues. Jason

    Im having roll bar problems!!!

this is a very good example as to why these cage kits are not worth the time or money. I think that the MM stuff is still made by Autopower. At least you got it to a race shop and they were able to fix the problem. cutting the body is not a good idea and will cause it to no be legal and be...

    rollbar/subframes install question

well first things first, the cage kit you are talking about is not safe, its made from 1020 HREW and possibly 1012 HREW in some cases. This is the material used for the tubing and the strength of this is the absolute weakest of the three(4130, DOM, HREW). I do not use any of this material in any...

best way is to build the whole cage then have it painted after. It is time consuming and may take longer overall but its the best and only way IMO. Jason

    Foxbody Cage Pics(Post Some Pics)

im pretty sure they are just the Autopower cages that they sell under thier own name. I do not suggest thier stuff because i feel as though its unsafe. At the least i would add additional plate under the cage and weld the entire structure into the cahssis. When you go to bolt it in i do suggest...

thank you, we do alot of cages and suspensions. We are not just a race shop, we are a metal fabrication race shop only. We do two things very good and those are cage work and suspension. I know what i do best and we stick to it. I spend years studying and perfecting the art before i started the...
