starting problem when car is warm?!

The mini starter may help a little since it won't be so close to the header, but do you even know that this is the problem? I have heard before that it may be the negative battery cable needs to be replaced. It may be deteriorating and not creating a very good ground. I would check that first...

Im installing new Autometer Guages, I need help please!

It shouldn't be too hard at all actually. The only thing is though, I don't really have any experience with running wires to the A-pillar, but the wiring of the guages is easy. Just find power somewhere when the key turns on, find a ground, and wire to the sender they provide. To have both the...

    Pro Chamber, cheaper than H-Pipe?

What kind of off road h-pipe did you get for 200 some bucks???? I got my BBK for something like 150 or so.

Widened my ROH Snypers. Pics inside

Damn, didn't realize it was at the edge of both sides. I still thought you would be able to to fit larger tires on there then that. Was that just preference? Don't people put 275's on 8 inch wide wheels?

Widened my ROH Snypers. Pics inside

Wow, that looks real good. I love those rims. One question though, couldn't you have fit larger than a 275 on a 10.5" wide rim?

    Stupid cats

Woah, I grew up in Bethlehem, PA(township) but now live a little bit outside of Allentown. When is your car due for the inspection? My friend knows a place that will do a lick and stick in the Southside of Bethlehem. I could try to contact him if you want. I might be able to let you use my stock...

    Rocker Arm Question

Agreed. I don't believe you can reuse the bolts on the stock rocker arms, because I think the crane rockers have a different head to it. I don't know whether the hex head of the stock bolts fits with the crane rockers. If I remember correctly, the pedestal mount crane rockers come with an...

    Stupid cats

I live in PA as well, and I just threw on the stock h-pipe to get the inspection done. The exhaust wasn't even sealed right since I was rushing, and I still passed the emissions inspection. RIght afterwards, I put my off road pipe back on, and will have it on until next year. See if you can find...

    Stock Exhaust vs. Straight Pipes

I agree with the fact that no mufflers doesn't sound very good. I have heard a stang with the stock h-pipe and no mufflers. It was loud for sure, but it didn't have a good sound at all. I would look into getting a good catback exhaust, or just getting some mufflers to weld into your stock pipes.

    Explorer intake questions...

Do you only have the lower for the explorer? The upper from the stock 5.0 H.O found in the mustangs will NOT work with the explorer(cobra) lower. The ports are placed differently, and will not match up.

    mac pro-chamber Vs. BBK x-pipe

What kind of mods do you have? 1 3/4 inch primaries and a 3 inch exhaust is really big. You will lose a lot of low end torque(this is assuming you don't have more than usual h/c/i). Anyway, I would just go for whichever one is cheaper. Both sound good, and both will make around the same...

    h pipe suggestions

Is there a price limit to this? Did you like the Bassani? I know they make a good product, so why not stick with it? I also heard great things about the prochamber, and if I were to buy a pipe again, I would go with that. Any reason why you are going from an x-pipe to h-pipe?

    Problem, wondering the cause.

Yeah, I would check to see about the throttle cable, and see whether your throttle body is opening all the way. When there is no load on the engine(neutral), it is easy for the engine to rev. When you have it in drive, you have much more load on the engine. Just because you are mashing the gas...

    Buzzing from fuel tank????

Is your exhaust stock? I used to be able to clearly hear my fuel pump over my stock exhaust. I don't know about WOT though. Usually when they get louder, it means it is on its way out. I rode around with mine humming for a while, but upgraded when I had a chance.

    Couple questions about milling heads

Yeah, he did mention something about a standard valve job and a performance valve job. What is the standard valve job, 3 angle? I mentioned something about a 5 angle valve job, and I think that is what he said the performance one was. He said something but I wasn't really paying attention(lol)...

    Couple questions about milling heads

Thanks thumper. I just got off the phone with a reputable machine shop near my area. He said for a good valve job, cleaning the heads, assembling, decking and I think that its, $400-450! Isn't that a little expensive? I don't think that the milling was even included in that price either. Should...

    Couple questions about milling heads

Wow, I appreciate the help. I know that I really can't get a an exact answer, I was just looking for a ballpark figure. One last question though. When you said about raising it 1 point in compression, do you mean one tenth, or .1? Like if I have 9.0:1 compression, did you mean it as it would...

    Couple questions about milling heads

Oh I know peak lift has really has nothing to do with this. We have been over this many times :) No need to worry about the bind, I have double valve springs coming from thumper soon that are good for .590" lift. I still question about the milling of the heads though. What kind of...
