    That Awsome Mustang Sound.

I had Flowmasters on my 90 with a Magnaflow catted H pipe. This one is Steeda (which I read somewhere was made or developed by Borla, not sure if that is true) and MRT catted H. For everyday living and regular longer drives, I could not be happier. I have gotten numerous compliments on its...

    "sloppy" Steering

Once I get all of the existing hardware checked and the car aligned, I will move on from there. On past vehicles, SFC and strut tower braces have made noticeable improvements in the feel of the car- a more solid feeling- which at least in part is what I am describing as sloppy. I will wait...

    "sloppy" Steering

Thanks for the reply. Would you say the Stifflers is worth the extra cost over a traditional full length connector? If this is strictly a street cruiser, would the Stifflers be overkill? I don't want to stiffen it so much it becomes uncomfortable on the roads here....they stink!

    "sloppy" Steering

Thanks for the reply. I have had good experiences with subframe connectors on previous cars so that is definitely one of the first things I plan on trying. Before anything else however, I will have it inspected for worn parts or bushings in the suspension and steering and have it aligned...

    "sloppy" Steering

Thanks for the reply. I am strongly leaning to subframe connectors at the least (and maybe upgrading the swaybars, I have read that really only the rear one will make a noticeable difference on otherwise stock suspension). I was actually thinking the same thing on maybe having something in...

    "sloppy" Steering

Hi all, I have been researching steering and handling mods for my car since it feels loose or "sloppy" compared to the other cars I drive. I am well aware that it is a heavy car with a solid rear axle and that has a lot to do with it. I am not looking to change the shocks/struts and springs...

    After Market Muffler Sound

I had Flowmasters on my '90 (I understand that was a 5.0 not a 4.6) and liked them at first but as Mattstang04 said, after a while they wear you out. The Steeda exhaust I have now is made by Borla I believe and I absolutely LOVE it. I tried the "just the mufflers" route before, I would...

    Automatic Shifter Knob?

    LOL. I guess not!

    Automatic Shifter Knob?

I thought about it, but I really don't know if I want to change the whole thing....would a 96-98 leather t-handle (stock) fit an 04?

    Automatic Shifter Knob?

I got my '90 when my daughter was born...when it was totaled, she was six and honestly may have been more upset than me! Now with this one, she loves to take it whenever we can and the slightest mention of getting rid of it for a different one prompts her objections. So that alone is why I...

    2004 Mustang

a friend of mine had an 02 V6. I have an 04 GT. Every time he rode in my car, he said, "I wish I bought an 8 cylinder"

    Automatic Shifter Knob?

That's exactly it! I had a 90 GT convertible. It too was supposed to be just a cruiser. I said "Oh, I will only do_____" more than once and each time started a domino effect that cost money and more importantly time that I never needed to spend on a car intended for the street with my family...

    Automatic Shifter Knob?

Thanks flstang65. I did check UPR and if I do decide to make a change I will probably order from there. I recently changed the inside of the speedo gauge cluster to brushed aluminum (to match the door sills and cup holders) but now I think the center of the dash looks like it is missing...

    Automatic Shifter Knob?

Hi all, Does anyone have a picture of an aftermarket automatic shifter knob (either ball style or t-handle) WITHOUT the o/d button relocater bracket and shift boot? I did a search but every picture I have come across has either the button bracket, the boot, or both. I am thinking about...

    speedo cluster ?

Well there is nothing like resurrecting a super old dead thread.... I finally got around to getting the speed cluster out and dremel-ing it apart. It was not nearly as bad as I anticipated. Once I get the cluster finished, is silicone as stated above by txredgt the best way to re-attach the...

What Do You Hate The Most About Your Mustang?

I haven't taken mine apart either simply because with the inconsistency, I am not sure what to look for.

What Do You Hate The Most About Your Mustang?

... the rattle that seems to come and go in my passenger door with certain bass frequencies. The fact that the same song can make it happen one day and not the next is the annoying part!

    Audio ?- Options for ipod

My adapter worked for all of a couple of weeks and then the "service sat" or "no sat" error was more and more regular. I contacted PIE (the manufacturer) and they said this was not normal and had me send it back to the distributor I purchased from for repair or replacement. I will post when...

    99 Gt Automatic Shift

Have you experienced any drawbacks to tuning? I worry about running too rich or lean or something that will begin the domino effect of things needing repair from a different modification...

Finally had time to put it in today. Installed in 15 min and sound is crystal clear. Well worth it!
