C.A.I. COLD AIR INTAKE why go plastic:

the main reason the the K & N intake system is likley the best out (or soon to be out) is that it is automotive grade plastic Plastic is superior in this application because: -plastic is a terrible conducter of heat, ever touched an aftermarket aluminum intake tube? it gets hot. Cooler...

Active Anti Theft Remote Window Feature

I don't remember source, but it was on a forum and I belive from a ford source, It said the reason has something to do with the remote reciever recieving bad outside signals, maybe random RF signals or whatever the remotes use from other remotes or as I remember they said Cell phone signals...

    Hood shake problem build dates

I know that dam thread is looooong, but if you read through it you can figure out that the early ones have the most shake and the later build dates have less and there hoods are a beach to close without slamming. I think this issue is still playing out so keep an eye out for a TSB I for...

    2006 Mustang Order Guide

I agree, this information is only important if Ford decided to make L.S.D. an option in '06 on a side note, I have had mixed experences w/ factory LSD's (some are tight and some are loose, like open almost, '85 turbo coupe was tight, '86 GT was loose, '89 saleen SSC w/ Aubern LSD was like a...

    Undercoating, should I or not?

I say no in most cases pros: -stops or covers rust on bare metal parts -adds some sound deading overall -some undercoating is needed in rear wheelwells of the '05's that drive on gravel roads alot (for noise) -if you live and drive in the snow belt (and streets are salted) may be...

    Head rests

to me, the only valid comment about head rest being to far forward is (with helmet on) the reasons for head rests are to reduce and prevent head, neck and back injuries in frontal or rear end collisions although I do feel for those that just can't get comfortable, are you deformed...

Lowering springs, Front Camber & Rear Panhard Bar

gp001 I just thought of something, reguarding your post: "My camber was way off after lowering with the Pro Kit. Find a competent alignment shop and they will be able to realign without the camber plates. If you go with a spring that lowers it more than the pro kit you may need the...

Lowering springs, Front Camber & Rear Panhard Bar

I second that. only reason to get a non-adjustible is if you are at stock ride height and want a stronger bar, I don't see the logic with the manufacturs making these unless they make specific lenghts depending on amount of lowering.
