    picture of ported cobra lower?

I was told it was matched to a 1250, but you know more about port work than I, so it's possible it is larger. I got this intake some time ago, so I can't even accurately recall. I'm satisfied though, cause it has been a proven performance piece for me.

ported to 1250 I'm sure Tom's work is nice, but anyway.... Bennett was who did the work. It was opened up to felpro 1250 gaskets, and it can't be that bad considering it was swapped from my 10 second hatch back that I had. I'm using it now on my 327 stroker motor(prepped for juice)...

I don't know what they used, but it is very smooth. No mirror like finish, but smooth. I compared it to a mildy ported gt40 lower I had in my garage, and let me tell you.."night and day" difference in the port work. It's amazing how they were able to port it to the max, and that's without any...

    Distibutor install

some cams can actually be degreed + or - certain degrees(advanced or retarded) on initial installation because they are designed that way. For example.. I had a wolverine blue racer cam(now discontiued), and for it to make the proper power it was supposed to, it had to be retarded (degreed) when...

    Distibutor install

This is as long as your cam wasn't degreed in anyway, and also remember that you may have to set your distributor a few times before it's right on the money

    Distibutor install

The timing gear and chain would not move unless you spun the motor. Other than that, your timing marks should be right on.If you're unsure, spin the motor by hand, and reset your motor to 0 degrees, and re-install your distributor, with the rotor pointing towards cyl #1

I am using an AFM PMS, and let me tell you what, it was such a night and day difference. I still have a little more tweaking to do because the car runs kind of rich at idle. Head Gasket install Question

exactly like Rio said. It seems silly but make sure they face"front" like the gaskets say. If not you'll run into some serious overheating problems down the road.

How do i get the Timing Chain Cover off?

Keep the big bolt loose. The balancer puller has a long bolt that threads through the center of it. Tighten that long bolt until it hits the center of the big bolt that you already have loose. When you start tightening that, you'll feel the puller starting to tighten up, and it will start...

How do i get the Timing Chain Cover off?

you have to take off the crank pulley...4 bolts. then you have to loosen the balncer bolt(the big one in the center). Using the puller, match up the bolts from the crank pulley to 4 bolts in the kit. Screw the 4 bolts from the kit into the balncer...tighten them evenly. now when they are snug...
