Help me analyze some 1/4 mile times guys!

Look at his 60ft, 1/8th, and 1/4 times...on his second slip he should've been somewhere around 14.3xx but you can't really base anything off that since he lost about 1/2mph, he was consistently .2xx better but didn't ET and dropped a little MPH. It'd be nice to see the 1/8th MPH for the two runs...

Help me analyze some 1/4 mile times guys!

you don't seem to be really consistent on the big end...maybe the DA changed drastically, but it looks like you did something different on the big end on the 2nd run that actually hurt you. Edit: its hard to analyze your time slips because they are so different

    Front tubular suspension help

If its rubbing you should be able to see the rub marks on it I would think. Mine is quiet, I do have a squeak in the front, but I think that's the ball joint.

    Front tubular suspension help

I'm using lakewood 90/10 struts and the sleave fits loose, as well as the spring. The sleave has a notch cut out that engages the bracket on the strut for the steering knuckle.

Just go to Pep Boys, give them your Year/Make/Model and ask for a gatorback belt. And yes its serpentine.

    Front tubular suspension help

If you've got the K-member, make sure it came with bolts for the P/s rack. Other than that, get the A-arms. You can use stock struts, you just have to take the "cup" off 'em(I just drilled the spot welds off). You can buy a coil-over kit from anyone(UPR, etc), just make sure it comes with...

    X-pipe trouble

a slight leak in the mid-pipe or cat back can translate to a vibrating noise sometimes. I know i've had to re-align or tighten my exhaust a couple of times in the past to remedy a "vibration".

What to expect from a tune??

It really depends on your tuner and how aggresive you want to be. In my experience, for a normal street tune, you want to be conservative on your A/F and timing, you don't need anything crazy. Have your tuner make you a "track only" race tune that you can run when you need it.

Mach 1 Mach 1 rpm question

It doesn't really have anything to do with anything other than the 6-bolt crank/flywheel.

How to remove front sway bar?

I've drove around for 2+ years w/out a sway bar in the front. Its not bad at all! You just can't take turns doing your normal speed! Just remember when its off it induces a lot of oversteer so you need to pay more attention to the way you drive. Driving on the freeway you won't notice...

    e brake light problems

When the res. is all the way full there should not be enough "sloshing" as described to trip the sensor. More than likely you're getting the light because your pads are getting worn which means your pistons have extended causing your fluid level to drop. You can either add more fluid and the...

How to remove front sway bar?

weight savings is about 15lbs...to remove it entirely, remove the nut at the top of the end link on both sides. If you follow the sway bar around you'll see its held in place by two retaining collars(1 each side). They have two nuts each, take those nuts out and the sway bar comes right off...

    96 Cobra

They do, and for 6800RPM crowd that's a pain in the neck. Also you need to look at the gear ratios the 600 offers, not really close to the T45/TR 3650

    Spec stage II or III?

SPEC stage III clutches have absolutely no give, its grab and go. They are also hell on the on the drive-line. I've seen more 10-spline input shafts broken from a stage III than anything else.
