    I tried that lower hose. It would have been perfect, but was too small for the water pump. Its only 1.75 on the radiator end and 1.5 on the water pump end. I need it to be 1.75 on both ends. Someone did recommend Gates 20674 for a 1970 Fairlane. I'm going to see what that one looks and fits...

    I have 215 60 15 Yokohama tires one my 15x7 Magnums. They fit and look great. I have thought about going to 225 60 15. How much clearance to you have to the upper ball joint or A arm?

    Electrical Temp gauge not reading correctly

    What about the fuel gauge? It could be the instrument cluster voltage regulator. I have an electronic solid state one now. The only mechanical one I have had that works close to right is the original one.

    Dynomax Ultraflo Welded is what I have, and I don't think I'll ever change them. They have a LT warranty, but that isn't why I bought them. I have had Flowmasters before, and never again.

    I'm glad to hear of someone else using Dynomax exhaust instead of the common Blowmaster stuff. Just curious, what mufflers did you get? I have their Ultraflo mufflers and love them.

    The Bronco II hose Gates 21736 works great for the upper, or at least it fits nicely anyway. The Maverick or 351C hose Gates 20702 is shaped right and fits the radiator, but will not fit the water pump. Its too small on that end. Its 1.5, and I need it to be 1.75 inches. I need another...

    I know this thread is older, but I'm finally getting around to doing this. I got tired of looking at the flex hoses. I also suspect the lower hose is leaking. I picked up a lower Bronco II hose to use as an upper, and a 70 Maverick hose for the lower. I'm going to work on fitting them up...

    Need a new radiator, '66

    I have an aluminum Fluidyne direct fit for 5.0 conversions that has the water connections on opposite sides. I got it from Mustangs Unlimited, but Summit has it too. It fits and works great.
