    Red 98 - is it a brace thet ties into the firewall, or just goes between the struts? i think its because the GT brace ties the struts to the firewall that it made such a difference

    Fan doesnt shut off??????

    so what was the outcome? my fan stayed running on my 96 (late 95 build) 3.8 mustang for quite a while the other night, but operated normaly since.. someone sugested that it may be the air con? iis it worth replacing the coolant temp sensor out of course anyway?

    wow, what a difference, much more compliant and controlled over bumps, due to being tied into the firewall.. seems a little crisper on steering too, but that may be because i've been driving around in a 4 cylinder 86 oldsmobile cutlass cierra custom cruiser wagon all week!! LOL :rlaugh:

    with an impending blast across the plains of spain down to the med later this year (40 + deg C) , i want to fit a tranny cooler.. anyone had any particular experiences? any to recomend or avoid?

    i'm buying some wheels off a 98 GT ( the 17" 10 spoke ones) and am just wondering if the wheels nuts from my stock 15" wheels will fit, are the tapers the same on the nuts? car is a 96 3.8 with the 3 spoke 15" wheels :SNSign:

    well, i have found there is a vortech dealer here in england, and as it happens not far (about 60 miles) from me... they want £1999 ($4000) for the whole kit, fitted.... i think this may be the best option if i go this route...

    a buddy of mine (EDGE motorsport - orange saleen) has got a suprlus supercharger floating about, and i'm having idle thoughts of fitting it to my stang.. thing is, the car does frequent 100+ mile trips, and am concerned about long term reliability.. what sort of boost levels can the 3.8...

    3.8 V6 - Reliable?

    my 96 is perfect so far... but it still has less than 30,000 miles on it.. anyone have the date the revisions were made? i know the 96 model year was revised, but auto manufacturers normaly start the new model year in abou tsept the previous year.. so does it follow that post 9/95 build is ok?

    Why get a V6 over a GT? doesnt make sense....

    very different reasons over here..... my stang is my only car, and i do quite a lot of miles, so i need a low milage car. the nicest mustangs coming into the UK right now are actualy coming from japan, my *** spec 96 mustang has just 24,000 miles on it, and is in 100% perfect condition...
