    I was thinking of taping off the oil fill opening and the exhaust ports on the heads and then put it in a bag. Hopefully that will keep it safe.

    Oh yeah, it will be in the garage out of the elements. Would it be good to spin the oil pump every now and then to keep it all circulated?

    Ok, I found a complete engine for a good deal, but I wont be able to have the car put all together and running for a while. How long will the engine be able tod sit without being run. I dont want it to sit too long and then have a ton of problems with it when i first crank it. Thanks.

    Mine is an Ingersol. Cant go wrong with it. Its your best bet if you plan to be using one much.

    Dirty IAC Valve, why?

    Do you have a k&n filter? From what I understand you can oil the filter too much and it will gunk up everything in the intake system.

    Can anyone confirm the power steering as fact? I think that the ac compressor cannot be swapped over....is this true also?

    Check to make sure the impact is set on hi, or 5 or however the speed is rated.

    Ok, we all know what you do/dont change on a 2.3 to 5.0 swap as far as suspension, wiring, and drivetrain. My question is, are any of the accessories compatible? Would I be able to keep my power steering pump, alternator, etc.?
