    Which car?

    Mustang all the way! My friend has an IROC, not a bad looking car but not what i'd call "fast", and my car is basically stock so its not the quickest thing out there either. I just swapped to LX tailights on my car so he has something different to look at for awhile :D

    Sounds like a pretty decent find. 85's are harder to come by cause they are the last year of the carb'd 5.0's. As far as problems, I have had NONE with my car and i've owned it almost 2 years. I maintain it well but still drive it hard. I used to have an 83 T/A T-top car that I thought was fast...

    Super loud noise help

    My 87 had the same problem after the clutch was replaced. I brought it back to the shop and I haven't heard anything since I got it back. It's been almost a year.

    I think it looks awesome. My original plan was to sell my vert and buy a 99-04 stang when the prices dropped a bit. But after seeing these pics, I am definitely buying an 05/06 GT. I'll take one exactly like the one in these pics without the spoiler. :hail2:

    Anyone have squeaky throwout bearings??

    Ditto.... The clutch was replaced a few days before I bought it. The place the guy brought it to sucks, so as annoying as it is.....i'd rather deal with the noise than bring it back to them ever again.

    04 vert vs 05 vert

    Well since I have yet to see the production vert I can't say. I didn't like the concept vert very much but i'm not a big fan of the 99-04's either. I guess i'm just a die-hard fox body guy.

    Am I the only one here who thinks that...

    I'm definitely with you on that, I love the car. There is really nothing that I don't like about it other than the mufflers of course, but in no way will that change my decision on getting one. Should be an interesting upgrade for me, going from an 87 to and 05/06. Can't wait :canflag:

    H-pipe? Power?

    I agree with pretty much everyone here, I noticed a slight loss in torque but the sound is WAY better. If you are expecting to put it on and feel a huge difference in power you will be disappointed. Do it for the sound. I don't regret it. :nice: :canflag:

    Sad!!...This is why our insurance is high!

    That ad lists a 5-speed tranny as one of the good parts. Don't all the 03 Cobra's come with 6-speeds or am I clueless?? :shrug:

    Ugliest Mustang.

    Ouch, LOL. There are actually 2 pinto's around here that are done up pretty good, one of them is 351w powered and I believe the other has a 460. One of them is tubbed the other isn't, I forget which one is though. Maybe i'm crazy but no matter how fast they are I could never give up any V8 Stang...
