    I know the "Will my buddies 2003/2004 blower fit on my GT" topic has been beat to death, so I figured I'd spice that type of thread up with a different topic...:D Would the blower off a lightning fit on the GT heads? I mean a direct swap too like...you could take the blower off the lightning...

    I was planning on boosting it so I didn't want the heads. I'm now just done with the car more than likely and am saving up for a Cobra. GT's too much of a waste of $$ to mod right now. I thought Laser had a 5 speed stock too...hmm

    TOTALLY different blower. Anything off an 03/04 cobra will NOT fit a GT without extensive modification and fab work.

    I should clarify that even though I think a 16 y/o could handle a PI GT, in NO way do I think a 16 year old should be given a 500+HP vehicle for their first car.

    I don't see why you think 16 year olds can't handle anything more powerful than an NPI GT. I had an NPI GT @ 15 (no license til 16) and could have easily handled a PI GT. Not every 16 year old is a complete idiot. This kid is just a daddy's money mooching little ***** though.

    It all depends on the dyno used, conditions during the dyno, and the car. There are factory freaks and there are prime conditions as well as high reading dyno's. It's fairly safe to say that 225ish for a manual is about right for stock, there will be lower and higher numbers.

    Estimate about 15% loss w/ a manual and 20% loss w/ an auto. 260 w/ manual = 226ish 260 w/ auto = 216ish

    I have a feeling if it's cast to fit PI heads it'd fit exactly the same as a PI manifold fits on NPI heads. Use a PI gasket and seal the coolant port w/ RTV and you'd be fine, use a NPI gasket and seal the edges around the air inlets and you'd be fine. I don't see how it'd be very different...

    Why? PI manifolds "dont fit NPI heads" either and look how many people do it. The PI heads don't flow THAT much better than NPI heads anyways.

    If you want the absolute best gas mileage ever, then NEVER turn on your stereo while you drive, and NEVER use any HVAC controls either, always shift below 3K, and you should bet set. :p Really, fuel filter and plugs should help, I know my filter change got me about 1-2mpg increase. Are 99+...

    Probably wouldn't hurt. I don't know exactly what threw mine off but with what you see in my sig, my A/F ratio was 18+ (dyno only read up to 18 and it shot up there at about 3K and stayed there through 5500). Dur, oh yeah it was my dirty as hell MAF, either way, probably wouldn't hurt to get it...

    I HATE HATE HATE that stuff, nothing has ever made me more pissed off when cleaning my car than that worthless excuse of a wax. I've never had to use more elbow grease and curse words to get wax off my car, which never fully works which in turn makes me have to rewash the entire car with dawn...
