    Call me crazy but I use 10w40 Royal Purlle w/Luas synthetic additive. Change every 6k miles. Oil comes out clean as it did when I put it in. BTW I also use the frpp filter.     Don't let it stay in direct sun light during summer. It will burn you. Found that out the hard way, also I have the T-handle so it will get hot. Now I cover it when I park in direct sunlight.

    do yourself a favor and find a reputable muffler shop, prefferably one that specializes in perf exhaust systems. You"ll be glad you did.
