    I suspect it is fuel related since its getting terrible mileage. It has a walbro in it but its probably been 4-5 years since it was replaced.

    Longer it sits the worse it is. I am worried about it because up till 2 weeks ago it started very quickly. Battery was getting weak so I changed it also. Cranks faster but still takes awhile. After I have been driving and restart it starts right up like it used to.

    More I look at the cervini 3'' cowl the more I want it. That wide cowl looks amazing. The cobra hood is just to common. Everyone has them.

    I figure it would be much less of a load on the injectors if I ran 24's. But that is a pretty mild setup so I may not have to. I can get a good deal on some 24's so I may go ahead and get them soon and get a MAF before I get all the parts installed. I know some guys were recommending 24's...

    You don't think I will need 24's with that setup? Must be mild then. Shouldn't that be along the lines of the cobra's power? I know it needed 24's stock. I may just get the intake for now and possibly get better heads in the future. But if I can a good deal on the gt40p's I may go for them/

    I hate making a thread like this but I am curious. With a e-cam, GT40 intake and GT40P heads, 24lbs injectors and MAF, shorties, OR H, and flows. What kind of power could I potential put down? I found a polished gt40 locally I may be able to score for 200$. And I found some heads for cheap...

    99 up is going to own a fox in every way. Handling and breaking would be close to a 94/95 but the power is much better.

    I wouldn't recommend a cam with stock intake and heads. It sucks bad. Trust me.

    I drive a mustang in the snow/winter, my brother drives a z28 in the snow/winter. Sorry we can't afford a winter car working part time and going to school. I guess I am retarded.

    Definitely run a window switch and WOT switch. Makes the whole process fool proof.

    You guys care to comment on the fit/finish of your hoods? I am in the market now. I am tempted to go ABC because their price is 300$ right now. But I know that cervini and harwood are good from experience. Cervini being better IMO.

    Cars here are really cheap yo. I almost bought a nice black vorteched fox with a lot of mods for 4500$. I wish I had the chance to get that deal again.

    I can't wait to get the slushbox out of mine. I am also getting a fiberglass hood. But thats as far as the weight reduction mods are going. Keeping full interior and all goodies besides emissions.

    Whats the weight of a 95 coupe with 5 speed? I'd imagine 200 lighter than a vert 5 speed and 300lbs less than a vert auto?

    If you use hood pins, do you need a hood latch?

    I hate hood pins so much but I may run them. I am not a fan of the ford hood latch. I had no worries with my GM's but their latch setup is better IMO. Anyone know of those key ones are strong enough to hold down the hood in the event of a latch malfunction? I know they are just made from...

    Supposedly those trannies are very nice. If I wanted to stay auto I would probably try the swap. But I have always wanted a manual in this car so its time. Did ford change the intake manifold in the 95 GT? I was under the impression the 94-95 had 215hp.
