you guys ever seen one of these.WIERD CHARGER

smaller package is supposed to help generate boost faster. I think they just put a turbo compressor and a hybrid blade with a "special" gear drive. The impeller is supposed to be one of the strongest. The guy I meant must of been trying to sell me one. He disconnected the discharge tube and...

    Quadshock/tire problem not normal question

I think with 275's you have to have them turned or the tire wont fit. I had to with just my 255's.

    Best head for bottom end

Take the Edelbrocks if you are getting that good of a deal. You will notice a difference in the 1500 to 3400 rpm but it wont be the big of a deal. Just make sure when you but them you have everything needed for them. Like, if there stud mounts, check the condition of the guide plates. Check the...

you guys ever seen one of these.WIERD CHARGER

Yup, seen it before. I've heard a lot of great things about it. Seen it on a car at Livernois and the guy told me it was one of their prototypes and he's never had a problem with it. He said it produces boost faster than any of the other ones yet. I'm still waiting on proof for that statement.

    Best head for bottom end

I think he stated that he wanted a street car that doesn't even get street raced. So what good do heads with 2.02 valves do for him. Now if he plans on staying in the 3500rpm and up range then yeah, go all out spend a lot on some heads. But, honestly, he'll spend most his time in the 1500 to...

Question on valve size on GT40 heads?

Really, a 2.02 valve, I thought the biggest you could stuff in the gt40 irons was 1.94? Hmm, don't know for sure, but I think they might be able to do it with a 1.54 exhaust valve and the 2.02. If it is indeed a 2.02 valve you may have some clearance issues depending upon your cams duration and...

    Quadshock/tire problem not normal question

You'll like them at 22-24psi best but, you will deffinately have to remove the quads because the side walls will buldge.

tech/mental help needed: i believe i just cant continue with this any longer

Did you have the intake decked to match the block. If not it will cause a port mis-match and maybe the small detail you are missing in your chase for the leak.

    Quadshock/tire problem not normal question

Looks like you need to lower the pressure in those bad boys. I see alot more wear on the inner tire then on the outer edges. I run my Micky DR's at 16-18psi all the time. Of course it's only a good weather car!

    Best head for bottom end

You wont loose enough to really care about with the 3.55's. Sure, you'll notice it but, you wont care because of all power you will gain from 3400rpms on up. You would probably be better off with some GT40 irons lightly ported and the all important performance valve job. That would be my...

    Quadshock/tire problem not normal question

You may get wheel hop from removing the quads. But, it will stop the rubbing issue. If low on money, get some poly bushing for the sock arms. Then while you have them out get torque box reinforcements installed and the lowers boxed. Will be cheap if you can do it your self. If not, it will be...

    Quadshock/tire problem not normal question

With time and abuse the stock bushings are bound to weaken and flex more. Get the torque wrench out and hit the bolts to the lower arms to make sure their still at the ft.lb. tightening mark.
