what size convertor is used on the aod? if its 11" or smaller then most likely you need a 157 tooth. I dont have an aod but I beleive on the 85 the aod is the same bellhousing size as a c4 or t5 soa 157 would be what you want. the 164 tooth is common on C6 applications and ones with bigger...

I am running a ground pounder kit and it moeves the fron tires forwar a bit if you run there control arms but I beleive if you run stock control arms it leaves them in stock location...
yup..pump is in high hump side of the tank and the sender unit is in the middle of the tank..drop the two straps and loosen filler neck (not in that order) and tank drops real easy...
Mine didnt seem to have that trouble. Are you running their subframes as well? Where is your main hoop hitting the floor? Did you buy a prejigged/notched kit from them or just a kit? If you just bought the klit all of the tubes maybe a little long for notching an what not. Sorry Im not an expert...
SFI approved is needed to run faster then 11.50 on NHRA sanctioned tracks..they are made with a little higher standards...and they cost alittle more. It doesnt hurt to run an sfi approved balancer if you arent sure.

convert to HIDs...well worth the money. As for housings I am runnning Blue Oval products new clear housings. They are very nice direct fit and then I have 4300k HIDs and they are brighter then any halogen replacement on the market......
if youar egonna run a high spring pressure like switch from hydr to solid roller or something similar you could ge the head machined down for studs. I had to do it on my cleveland heads. its nto real expensive and doesnt take much....
