    C4 tranny (fair price)

I sold mine last year for $250. Comletely rebuilt with about 6000 miles (in 10 years!!! I need to drive it more), shift kit, 2800 stall converter. The guy put it in his 66 coupe and didn't seat the converter correctly. Burnt it up in 75 miles :nonono:

    How do I determine if

MSD with MSD Blaster 2 coil. What annoys me the most is the fact that she ran well before the damn oil change and other associated crap it involved. I remeber it poping once or twice before the plug change (which is why I did the change) but this is getting rediculous.

    How do I determine if

Alright update time. Checked and rechecked the wires, but they're where they're supposed to be. Vaccum advance is working. I did find one of my header collector gaskets was leaking, not sure that would have an effect. Still lookin'......

    How do I determine if

It is a 302 gearset not 5.0L, I made sure of that when I bought it. The hoses are new, I replaced them when I bought the car last year. Prior to swapping the timing chain I rotated the engine to TDC and lined up the exisiting dots on the chain. I left the dist. in and swapped the gears and...

    How do I determine if

Woodsnake, I just replace the timing chain set two weeks ago when my simple oil change turned into a three day ordeal. The pan plug was stripped so I swapped a new pan on, while there I noticed two freeze plugs leaking so I changed them and since I could see stretch in the chain I put a new...

    How do I determine if

a cam has a wiped lobe? Lately the 302 in my 68 Cougar has been running like absolute crap. AFAIK it's pretty much stock with long tune headers, a Performer manifold, Durapspark dizzy and MSD (installed last summer) and a Street Demon Jr 525 cfm carb. Timings set at 14 deg btdc with a total of...

    66 mustang...lots of parts...whats it worth

Geez, sounds like my car, but my paint is really nice and the interior is new. I have over $25 G's into it (and it never stops by the way). I'd be happy if I got $16,000 for mine. Based on what I've been seeing locally (NJ) and on the web I'm probably low. How much do you WANT to spend?

Will the 65 Shelby Dash Pod fit in a 66 ?

I bought it from Clifornia Mustang years ago. It's not bad but for the 6 yrs it was in the Florida sun the back side warped. I bought the guages seperately (tach & vaccum). I'll buy another some time soon and brace it with fiberglass prior to install. Still worth the $20 I paid at the time.

    Is this true???

I, like pretty much everyone else here, browses various Mustang related forums (total assumtion:rolleyes: ). While browsing VMF (during work:nono: ) I got this message: "There was a problem loading this page: It is with deep regret that I have had to make the decision to close down VMF. I...

    Not a stang but a cougar Q?

I'm not rubbing currently, but I plan on dropping the front end down andothe 1.5" so it might then. Still have to do the Arning (Shelb) drop and cut the springs.

    Not a stang but a cougar Q?

I have a 68 Cougar with 96 Cobra rims (17x8) and 245/45/17's, on it. I had to use 1" spacers/adapters front and rear to get the proper backspacing of 4.75". Looks pretty good but I think I'm going to swap to a different style rim.

    ? for Opentracker

Looks like you could use those spring perches if you cut too much out of your springs and needed to get the front end back up:rolleyes:
