    Just wanting to know what 5th gear rpm is at 55mph with 3:55 gears. My saleen registry document doesn't say if it has them. still running factory tire sizes 245/50-16 thanks, Mike 89-718

    I have cleaned the IAC but I have not checked the TPS voltage. This is a stock 89 saleen with 93k. Does any one know if you replace the TPS or IAC do they have to be calibrated or is it a remove and replace that simple.

    Tps Iab If you replace the TPS or IAB. do they have to be set or is it a simple remove the old one and install new. are there any checks to perform to see if the TPS or IAB are still good before you purchase new ones not needing them. mike 89-718

    Have any of you Fox body owners encountered this problem. When I shift gears the rpm spikes up a sticks when driving normal. If I shift around 1800 the rpm will climb to 2200-2400. Need to get fixed before mustang week. mike 89-718

    I believe your right. The saleen book says nothing about a 88 SSC. Makes you wonder how long it took to find all the pieces or he found a wrecked one. mike 89-718

    thanks I have found some on ebay for around $150-$170. Just wanted to make sure they would fit. Also does the newer design still clear the cruise control buttons.

    buy it and resell it on ebay. the feature cars bring good money. you need to check and verify that the plate is on headlight panel to prove that this is a feature car. price seems fair to me. paid more than that for my saleen vert.

    Has any one ever replaced the molding that goes around the top where the boot snaps in. one of my mounting studs broke and I need to know how you gain access to get to the studs :shrug: 89-718
