    ALTERNATORS...

I ordered a PowerMaster 140 amp from Summit (no backorder) and installed it a couple weeks back with the new wire that came with the alternator. Haven't had any problems so far...

here are my choices for the torino!!!! vote now please read options prevoting

:stupid: I really like the look of the wheels that are on the car now. I would stick with a 15 inch wheel, but would love to see some wider rears. Great looking car by the way, my favorite is the one from the rear.

    need info on classic mustangs

The pony interior was a really classy option for the 65-66 because it gave you this embroidery on the seats, a 5-gauge instrument cluster, different door panels with lights in them, and wood grain covering for the dash, glovebox, and console. Unfortunately, it changed for 67 by replacing the...

    Export brace question

I think I understand what you're asking... your situation sounds impossible, because if the export brace is rubbing against the fender, shouldn't it not line up with the bolts? I will try to check when I get home, but I think I have an inch or so gap in there.

Am I the only one who?

I like it old school too. Torq Thrusts, Cragers, Draglites, Magnum 500s, etc. I hate seeing 17 or 18 inch rims from newer stangs adapted onto a classic. I am a fan of some bigger rims, but only if the car is a full on custom restomod, not just a mainly stock car with big wheels.

    PAINTIING INTERIOR...

The knobs should have a small hole that will accept an allen key and unscrew. Let us know how it goes, as I'll probably be doing this over the winter.

    eliminating voltage regulator

I did not have to do any changes with any of the existing wiring. It's been about two weeks since the swap, and I haven't been 'surprised!' with a dead battery yet so I guess I managed to do something right... I hope this helps!

    Fiberglass Hood Options....

Personally, I've always been a fan of the '67 Shelby hood with the dual scoops. I would go with that.

    Radio Suppresion Compressor?

I recently installed a PowerMaster 1-wire alt. I have since removed parts of the old alternator wiring harness, the voltage regulator, and it's harness, but there is one thing left. It is the small cylinder under the volt. regulator, called a radio suppresion compressor. I searched the site and...
