    Trick flow intake ?

It's perfectly normal, like fastfox86 said, you won't see it once it's put back together.

    A different "which intake" thread....honestly

Thanks for all the help Tom, your input has definitely had the greatest influence on my decision making. You've provided some good concrete facts that helped alot. I am actually in the process of buying a Performer, sale is pending. If I do get the Performer, I will be contacting you to have...

    A different "which intake" thread....honestly

Does anyone have any dynos of a N/A 302 using a Trick Flow intake making at least 300+ rwhp? I've basically narrowed to 2 choices, ported Performer or Track Heat, even though on this board it seems that more people are making higher avg. power with the ported Performer.

modusmortis - I have thought about using the ported cobra intake and I am sure it would make great power and torque throughout the powerband. However, I don't think it would outflow my heads, therefor the extra porting and polishing on the heads would be useless. Believe me though, this...

Anyone running a track heat intake? How do you like it? Any input/opinions/experience welcomed, please. :nice:

You are absolutely correct, definitely choking, although the dyno numbers are decent considering. I have thought about the RPM as well, it is in the running.

Are Edelbrock intakes that much better than Trick Flow? Any AFR FTI TFS combos... Okay, so here is the deal, I have researched hours upon hours as to which intake would work best for my combo. My setup is in my sig, but basically consists of ported/polished and slightly milled by FTI AFR...

    Which Throttle Body ?

93gtmustang - I am in the same boat as I am switching to a (ported)Performer very shortly. Even though our combos are different (and I am being careful as I don't want to fall into the pit of TB debates):nono: , the performer does have a 70mm opening, so I am going to switch to a 70mm to match...

    Clutches

If it is not worn out, I would keep the CF DF. I have a Spec II in my car now and I have had the Centerforce before. I do like the Spec II, as it is not too on/off like the Spec III, but is more on/off than the Centerforce. Overall I really liked the centerforce DF I had in my 89 a couple...

Spec stage 3 or FMS HD clutch

I have heard this too and wouldn't have every bought specifically a SPEC. However, I recently bought Dream94GT's car and it has a SPEC 2 on it and it has zero chatter and it isn't too on/off either. I still prefer centerforce d/f, but this has changed my views on SPEC a little anyway.

    Custom Cam vs. TFS1

That's interesting, you are the first person I have ever heard that claims that the B303 made more power that the TFS1. My guess is that the seat-of-the-pants feel was stronger in the lower rpm's with the "B", or did you actually dyno with both?

    Custom Cam vs. TFS1

I think I will probably wait and get a custom cam. I might get my TW's worked/upgraded more and put a bigger intake on while I'm at it. :D Who knows though, but thanks guys for your advice.

    Custom Cam vs. TFS1

Thanks for the opinions. I might just hold off, I don't really feel like tearing the top half of the motor down for 5 ponies. I basically just wanted to make sure that my cam wasn't holding me back much. Don't get me wrong, I love the Stage 1, it pulls very hard from 3000-6000. Just been...

What Fluid is in your T5?

I believe D&D sells either rebuilds or T5Z kits with a 3.35 first gear.

    Custom Cam vs. TFS1

Hey, I am just curious how much I have to gain by switching from my Trick Flow Stage 1 to a custom cam. My mods are in my sig. Would it even be worth it without any other changes made? Approx. how many ponies could be gained by the swap?

    How to bypass heater core

Is the crack in the front of the core, can you see the crack? If so, waterweld works wonders. It is made by the same people that make JB Weld. I had a crack on the front of my heater core. I used the waterweld and put a container of Alumiseal in the radiator and it worked like a charm.

    Dilemma...Centerforce DF vs. II

I suppose I could, I could also shift at 4000 to take it easy on my engine. Sorry for the sarcasm. However, in the quest for the best E.T. with my current motor I will have to at least launch from 3500, even if I slip it out. Anything less than that and I am just not even near...
