    Didn't you say that the tuner told you A/F ratio was fine? If so, the problem isn't fuel. If your pump wasn't keeping up, or the filter was clogged, you'd see it going lean at the higher RPMs. Since that's NOT happening, it's time to look elsewhere.

    That sounds EXACTLY like my trans issues. Very notchy feel, and grinds on the 1-2 shift. Worse when cold. So maybe all I need to do is replace the fluid with non-synthetic ATF? Thank God I read this thread, this issue was really bothering me.

    Noticed that after my B&M shifter install. Definitely a little more tranny noise getting into the cabin now. I hadn't even thought of the noise being from the shifter until reading this. The one-piece aftermarket shifter probably DOES transmit more noise than the 2-piece OEM one.
