    Short throw shifters are all pretty much up to personal taste! I went through the same thing and got dozens of opinions..... steeda tri-ax pro 5.0 would be my two recommendations, based off of the number of people that use them

    If you remove the boot cover on your shifter, you will see the stops....just back them off 1/2 turn from their current position....its not the stops though, but you can try it if you are bored good luck mang....

    Well, once you go with different wheels sizes, it all becomes academic, as you will spend money to replace tires instead of rotate them. So, if you like an agressive stance go with 295's or 305's on the rear. Stick with 35 series as they are taller on an 18" wheel than 40 on a 17". I've got...

    you need to create a new one. Go to an exhaust shop and have an o2 bung welded in your system IN FRONT OF THE CATS. Depending on the year of your car, and whether you have headers, it can be a tight fit. but it can be done. Then you need to install the o2 sensor provided with the af gauge setup...

    yes, you can expect to get charged for new tunes. depending on your mods you may not need to. Typically, the only things requiring tuning would involve air fuel ratio, timing, or speedo calibration.

    how many miles on the car? the only way the shifter could be a problem is if the stops were set improperly, not allowing the transmission to go all the way into gear. This would cause it to "pop" out of gear. Other than that, your shifter can NOT be the cause of transmission malfunction. Sad...
