    What does your smaller red wire pigtailed off the battery positive go to? I cant seem to get mine traced out. Mine just seems to go into some relay or something and split off 2 ways :shrug: thanks

    those magnets are super strong too for how little they are lol even though you cant see the lifter you can clearly hear the magnet grab them and feel the weight of the lifter as they are pulled up and easily tell at which point to spin down the wingnut to secure them out of the way

    heres mine after my cam swap I did Friday and a couple pics of it (and a thanks to 85_SS_302_Coupe for helping me diagnose a fried duraspark box) now its running took me forever to scrape off the old gasket material :rolleyes:

    I appreciate that, yea Ive been driving it since December and plus I can pull the coil wire off the dizzy, stick a spark plug in it and put it close to the engine block and give it direct battery voltage very briefly and it will spark so youre thinking probably the box itself? Maybe whatever...

    replaced distributor cap and still wont fire, oh well I needed a new one anyways I took a step back and started checking a few other things and found I had a blown 25a fuse in slot #16 is that fuse ignition related? all my other accessories worked even with it blown...if so could whatever...

    Just got done swapping out my cam and I'll have to say...these things were a good time saver. Even though I had them I started to worry about dropping a lifter and almost took off my lower anyways but I thought to myself they wouldnt sell those things if they were problematic. Just dropped them...

    My car is an 87 carbed 302 with a duraspark setup Cranked it today letting it warm up...It was running very smooth (went to the store and everything) then it just shut off like I had turned the key off and will not restart. Key on I have 12v at both positive and negative coil terminals...
